I wish I had come to Yelp BEFORE I tried to call this branch. They have an 800 number listed online and the first REAL person I reached spoke sooooo quickly, that when I asked him to slow down and repeat his name, HE HUNG UP.
I called again, and finally got a real person, who, of course, was not even in Illinois and could not find an answer to my question on his computer, so he transferred me to the branch. I asked for a direct number to that branch and was told I had to go through the 800 number.
By now I have worked up a sweat pushing numbers, being transferred, and THEN, after 7 minutes, someone actually in Darien came on the line.
For anyone who has a regular job, with regular hours, this bank is open until 1 on Saturday for your banking convenience ~ otherwise, like you, they only work until 5. However, I was informed they are open late on Friday evenings until 6. Right, that helps.
They do not like banking face to face and encouraged me to conduct my banking business ONLINE. Being technically challenged, that's not going to happen.
What has happened that it would have been easier for me to actually drive over to that branch to get my questions answered?
