Fun Fact: There's approximately (1) Circle K store for every 25,298 people, in Florida or about 849 locations, it's no wonder there seems to be one on every corner. I paid at the pump so I can't speak of the interior of the store or the staff here, I will say the fuel island was clean and well maintained and the receipt dispenser worked so someone is paying attention. They had visited one in San Antonio, but reveled in the more massive scale that the Daytona location offers. I kind of went crazy myself, buying way more than intended. It's easy to do. From so many tempting food items, snacks, apparel to housewares, things can really get out of hand spending-wise. I can rationalize a lot of it though, because individual items, for the most part, are priced reasonably. This time I grabbed a Brisket & Egg Taco. That brisket is amazing! Enjoyed having it without any BBQ sauce slathered on so I could purely appreciate the meat's glorious fatty flavor. Their tortillas are made fresh at a devoted station. Everything is well-maintained from the restrooms to merchandise displays. My cashier was another bright spot. She engaged me in conversation and made me feel valued as a customer. The only thing I don't love is getting through the parking out. I am always able to park, but with all the traffic it's rather hectic.

The actual center of the store has a famous brisket sandwich area where they are actually cutting up the meat and making the sandwiches they call out about the sauces and sandwiches when being made in a country way. I bought a brisket sandwich and it was pretty tasty. They have fudge for sale and a bakery counter to choose from They also sugar coat nuts of various kinds pecans, cashews, almonds. I bought the cashews ones but think I prefer almonds and pecans when sugar coated ate them on the way back to Orlando . They have a counter to purchase jerky meats of various kinds too and sauces on a rack . The gas station prices seemed the same as the others even though people say it is cheaper. One could spend a long time there looking at all the merchandise and eating . A good stop if passing by and if you are up for a ride you can travel to it from other places. They will be opening up more soon so you may not have to travel far to see one

I had no reason to go inside but it's appears to be one of the few go to spots for the locals to grab odds and ends, and it looks like can beer is one of those necessities round here. Being it's located at a crossroads getting in and out of here is a breeze, but look both ways folks seem to be in a hurry along this route and the "do not pass" signs and double yellow lines don't appears to be enough to convince some to practice patience...

This is the option I used so I can't speak for the interior of the store or the staff. Diesel Fuel Island - this fueling island was unkept and filthy. The concrete surface was covered in spilt fuel, the pumps are in poor repair and the receipt dispenser didn't work, the windshield washing stations were dry there were no squeegees, no paper towels or hand sanitizer which you will definitely need if you touch anything here. Although this fuel island is totally neglected the convenience of paying at the pump for "high flow" fuel dispensing gets them just an "okay" rating of three stars, as nasty as this fuel island was I'd stop again because of the convenience but I would come better prepared...

I had plenty of time to observe the customers as I sat and waited for my turn at the pump. I'm assuming, but as the customers exited the store some were packing their cigarettes against the palm of their hands, some most had a bag of ice and a 12 pack of beer, one guy was chewing on a Slim Jim wrapper like he hadn't eaten in a week. Hey I'm not judging, I just loved that I had the opportunity to people watch at 4:30 PM on a Tuesday afternoon while waiting to fill-up. I didn't go inside like most, I chose to pay at the pump and get on my way so I can't speak of the staff or the interior of the store.
