I was driving home from Manhattan to Massachusetts. I was supposed to come back earlier in the week but I got too sick to drive. When I was finally on my way my Jeep started overheating on the FDR. I couldn't pull over right away but was able to finally get off. I pulled into the first service station and as soon as they saw me opening my hood they all came rushing over offering to help. They tried refilling the antifreeze but it poured right out the bottom. They said I'd have to leave it overnight and even got me a cab back to my friend in Manhattan. The next morning they called to say I was all set, I'd have to wait days at my local Jeep dealer! I was finally able to get back and the repair cost was much less than I thought. I was worried about being a single woman from out of state getting scammed but they were actually very honest. It's very hard to find that even around my home. Hopefully I won't ever need to go back there again but I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

i was very low on gas (bad habit of always driving with the needle on e)and before i get on the bronx river and run out of fuel my gps guided me to the nearest gas station in the lovely soundview section of the bronx and its citgo which i am not a fan of but its cold outside and area scares me so beggars cant be picky and for 225 per gallon i shall overcome. place looks dark and spooky but its empty and i dont have to get out of the car as muher is the person pumping the gas which in returns warrants me giving him a george washington for his service . now its on to the bronx river parkway to continue my journey into westchester . read more

This is by far the worse customer service I ever experienced in my whole entire life. So the night of Jan 2, 2018 my car ran out of fuel just off of the Sheridan expressway exit. Its the dead of winter now, I figured I will walk to the gas station and pay some money to pump gasoline into my gas container. Except when I got there, the attendant was an evil cold hearted angry man. I told him "my car is stuck, I need help. Please can you just let me pump my gas." He refused, for a moment he did not even look my way. I had to bang on his door to get his attention. As I am freezing outside, he actually states "I don't care, I'm closed". Mind you it says they close at 12am, it was atleast 11:45pm and he still refused to offer me an services or help. He even threatened me and the guys I was with a bat because we were cursing him out. Humanity is lost if this is how businesses that are supposed to be in the service of customer satisfaction are being conducted. If I could give him a negative star rating I would. I would never ever ever get gas from Citgo. Then I had to walk like a mile in the dead of Winter to the next gas station because this man refused to take my money.
