Sensing I was having a crisis , the owner Pedro asked if he could help me. I found out immediately how decent and honest he was when he said he could fix it for only $30. He did it right away, and I added a huge tip! When Pedro fixed my car he noticed the brake pad was worn out. How lucky I was to find this out! Poor brakes could result in a catastrophe! I came back a week later, and Pedro replaced my rotors and brake pads. He charged me an extremely fair price for doing this work. I gave him money for the air pump and he had one of his guys check the pressure for me. He explained that I had too much air in the tires and that may have been the problem all along but that if my sensors went off again I should bring it back. He was so helpful and saved me money, which he easily could have taken from me. Instead he was very honest and helpful so if I ever need to have my car serviced, I will definitely bring it there.

The line from the coolant to the radiator had come loose. Without a word, he began fixing it and then, for 45 min, had to add water and coolant repeatedly to get the engine cooled down. He stayed with the car, fixing it, knowing how backed up he was. It was not only a professional and thorough job, but truly a decent and kind act of humanity. I can't recommend these guys enough. I am now hereby requesting further review and investigation,…read more Based on the response I received, it seems as though you are having a hard time understanding the situation. My claim is not that the quality of the fuel is bad, but that the fuel that I selelcted was not the fuel that was in the resevoir at the pumping station. If you reviewed your records, then you would see that I have ALWAYS selelcted 93 grade and on July 8th my vehicle became disabled because DIESEL was in my tank. My repair shop reported DIESEL in the tank. NOT 93. Therefore the 93 grade resevoir at the BP Station located at 871 Melrose had DIESEL fuel in it. This situation has irreperably destroyed my feelings about BP as an Organization overall. Instead of you recognizing the error and making your custiomer whole, BP as an Organization overall has taken the position that I knowingly purchased DIESEL Fuel and ruined my new vehicle. BP has taken the position that the customer and the repair shop are wrong and that is a disgrace. I am looking foreward to this matter being escalated to a higher level where the details of my claim are seriously reviewed and I am FULLY REIMBURSED for my purchase of the Deisel as well as the cost of the repair. Please be aware that BP has now lost yet another customer as I know that this is NOT the first time that BP has had this situation occur. I will never purchase anything from any BP station anywhere in the world ever again. I was in the middle of a trip from Pennsylvania to western Massachusetts when my 2012 CRV started…read morethunking hard. I thought I had a flat but none of my tire indicators were on, nor any of my engine lights. I pulled off the highway and parked on the side of the road in a residential area and started investigating, which for me means kicking the tires and checking the oil. I'd just had the brakes done, but I couldn't see anything loose. A neighbor walked up, asked if he could help, but the problem seemed bigger than either of us could fathom. That's when he recommended this service station. I pulled in at about 9 o'clock on a Saturday morning, and the place was hopping. The owner came out, listened to my story, and said he might or might not be able to get to it today because his guys were leaving at 1 PM. I didn't have a lot of options, driving to the service station made me very nervous because of the clunk and clatter, so I parked the car, called around, and started calculating the cost of having my car towed 160 miles to home. Joao, the owner, came out to check on me, and I told him I hadn't found any other service stations that could help. He said he'd squeeze me in. His mechanic drove it into the bay and figured out the problem in one minute. Loose tire. As in, one of the bolts was about to pop out and the rest were wriggling free. I shudder to think what would've happened if I had been on the Hutch when the driver side front tire decided to separate from the vehicle! All of us breathed a huge sigh of relief. The mechanic double checked my new back brakes, tightened all the Lugnuts, and then they sent me to the local bagel shop with a list of pastries and coffee for the team. This was the lucky, lucky day I got to buy everybody breakfast as compensation for the repairs. Otherwise, no charge. As a musician on the road, I've had my share of breakdowns and emergencies. All in all, I've been really lucky, and today was no exception. If you're in a pinch, I recommend Joao and his friendly, efficient team without reservation.
