I was alone, terrified, and in a dangerous situation with very little room to pull off the highway. I had no idea what mile marker I was at, but when I called Big D Tire Service, they answered on the first ring. I explained what tire I needed, and they immediately checked their inventory. Since I didn't know my exact location, they had me share my location with them and were able to find me without any issue. They arrived in less than 30 minutes with a new tire and immediately made me feel at ease. Not only did they replace my tire quickly and professionally, but they constantly checked on me, asked if I was okay, and even directed traffic to make sure we stayed safe while working on the side of the highway. They were honest about the cost, communicated clearly, and never once tried to take advantage of the situation. What truly impressed me was that they went above and beyond. After I made it home, they even reached out the following evening just to make sure I had arrived safely. That level of kindness and customer service is rare these days. As a young woman traveling alone, I cannot express how much I appreciated their professionalism, compassion, and integrity. They made an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable and safe. My tire has been great, and I haven't had any issues since. The local shop charged me $6000 for labor and parts for the same types of work. On the phone he will tell you a $150 hourly rate; when he arrives, he will double it, but then you still have to pay him for coming out. Look at his past reviews; most of the customers are not happy with his work.
