Totally, totally AWESOME. Cirque Du Soleil never disappoints! My fist experience was Michael Jackson 'ONE' in Las Vegas which is a hard act to follow but, VOLTA is up to the task! Thanks to Michelle and YE team along with any other sponsors of this exciting and breathtaking experience. Before you enter the 'big tent' there is a pop up beer garden that sells bites, drinks and beer. Once inside you will find multiple vendors selling food, drinks and Cirque VOLTA selling their wares and goods. I purchased a lovely program and a beautifully designed 'shopping bag' my total was a mere $25. This was nothing considering this was a sponsored Yelp Elite Event with FREE did I say FREE parking?!!! This show was filled with every childhood memory of games, gymnastics, jump rope, roller skating, dancing and plain ole daydreaming. So many unique artistic skills on display in one show. My favorite was the jump rope team. But the entire show was Spectacular!!!

This is the second Cirque du Soleil show I've seen, and it did not fail to impress! Let's start with the venue. Ample free parking, impressive tent set-up (looks especially cool lit up at night), nice and clean on the inside and outside. Bag/security check at entry. Lots of flushing porta-potties and sinks with running water provided outside the tent. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. In the arena itself, there are few bad seats -- great views from all angles; however, the seats are WAY too narrow and close together. Keep this in mind if you want to enjoy a snack during the show (I think the nachos might be difficult to maneuver). Also, no arm rests. Our show was not sold out so many people, including us, moved over and around to be more comfortable. Speaking of snacks, the popcorn was terrible, especially for how overpriced it is. Pass on that. The show itself is approximately 2 hours long with a 25-minute intermission about halfway through. The acts are all so amazing and beautiful and just overall entertaining. The live music was phenomenal, as expected. Lots of color and movement -- you won't be bored! Appropriate for kids and adults of all ages. I had the privilege of attending this fantastic show as a Yelp Elite member, courtesy of Yelp Philly. Thank you so much again for the opportunity! I am SO happy I got to see it; I know I will never forget it. Go if you can, and take your whole family!

Cirque shows are known for their bright colors, the costumes, beautiful music, and their ability to mesmerize and amaze. Volta does not disappoint in any of these. It takes the ordinary and makes it extraordinary, such as double Dutch jump rope, baton twirling, and some cheerleading moves on steroids. The BMX bike finale is simply spectacular. This was my 7th or 8th Cirque show. I saw this one in Oaks, PA last night. The one thing I noticed that this show lacks is some of the comedy in other shows. . .with no real clowns. But if you've never been to a Cirque show it will "wow" you. If you have been, it won't disappoint.

I think this show was very entertaining. I've seen some other Cirque shows (The Beatles Love and another one in Vegas) and the Beatles one is still my all time favorite. I've seen that one twice it's so good! In saying that, this one was different but still enjoyable. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone that might be going to see it so I'll try and be vague in my descriptions. There are acts like juggling, jump roping, extreme bike riding, aerial stuff, and more (I don't want to give it away). All the performers are very talented. My absolute favorite portion was the part with trampoline artists. It was crazy to see how coordinated they are together. The venue is so cool, you feel like you are actually in a building and not in just a glorified tent. It's air conditioned and actually cold in there! Drinks will put you back a pretty penny...those of the alcoholic kind. I got a sangria and that was $15. A can of bud light is the same price. I'm not sure how much the other concessions were as I did not partake. The show started promptly at 8 and ran almost until 10pm with like a 20-25 minute intermission. Another favorite part of mine was that there was a dude that looked like Pauly D from the Jersey Shore in it. I didn't care for his strange comedic act...but I just was obsessed with the fact he was a spitting image of Pauly D. The music was wonderful as well. It was performed by a live band which is always great. If you are considering going and have some extra cash to burn it's definitely an entertaining show. Do I think it's the best Cirque show I've ever seen? No. But this isn't Vegas people so calm down. Thanks to the Philly Yelp team for the tickets and giving me and my sister a "Mom's Night Out"!!!!

Circular stage that spins - no bad seats in the house

This is the forth Cirque show I have seen and it did not disappoint. The beginning was a little slow, but as things progressed it just got more involved and more amazing. At one point the spinning stage is converted into a two-sided trampoline set up. Later it contains three half pikes. There are aerial acts, a few clever clown pieces and lots of talent. Personally, the highlight of the show was the hair hanging performance by Danila Bim. It was powerful and beautifully choreographed. Amazing. The costumes are brighter and a bit more silly than Cirques from the past, but overall the show is incredible.

I hate to say this but we were not impressed by this show. We have seen 6 other Cirque shows, 5 in Las Vegas. This one just didn't hit the mark. There is no doubt the performers are talented but there was no wow factor as there are in other Cirque shows. Beatles Love and O at the Bellagio are so amazing we have seen them twice. The venue is so far off the beaten path we were sure we were lost, even with gps. Still, grateful for the free tickets from Yelp.

    VOLTA in Tyson's Corner, VA

My family and I were fortunate enough to be in the D.C. area when VOLTA was on tour. We all loved every single minute of the performance. The story and message behind the performance is something we can all learn and should live by: be comfortable in your own skin and look at your differences as personal superpowers. My children (ages 7 and 10) sat through the entire show and probably could have sat through another hour or so of performance. The performers/artists were all extremely talented and put on a wonderful show. I highly recommend trying to get tickets if/when they are in your area.

It was more than I was expecting but the show style was a bit underwhelming. The stage itself is amazing. I've seen a few Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas and I wasn't expecting the stage to articulate but it did! That was awesome and a huge plus to the performances. The performances were also very entertaining and well executed. The only downside to this show was the way it was structured. The show ends with bicycle tricks, not typical Cirque du Soleil acts. If i wanted to see BMX tricks I'd watch the x games. I wanted more of the first act. All in all it was an entertaining night. I would recommend this to those who have not seen the Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas.

The venue was a cool big top that was a throw back to circuses, but with the style that you would associate with CDS.

The show was very eye catching from start to finish. The acrobatic dancers did their thing on the swings, poles and balancing beams. I love creativity and I also love when dancing is expressed in a way that tells a story. Amaluna delivered by telling a story that takes place on an island of nothing but women however a storm takes place and a group of men ended up being washed up on the island. Overall I had a great time and I was glad to have the opportunity through yelp to see and explore different events that probably wouldn't spark my interest otherwise. I believe the show ran just over 2 hours, including a 20-25 minute intermission. Finding the tent and parking was a breeze. Even getting out afterwards was not difficult. An enjoyable night from end to end.

I was fortunate to win discounted tickets and came on opening night. This show is at the Philadelphia Expo Center in Montgomery County until the end of October 2023. The show is about two hours long which includes a 25 minute intermission. It consists of about 15 acts including musical interludes. The music is live and the dancers and athlete performers are top notch. I joked to my wife about how I can do what I saw on the circular stage. Seating is all around 3/4 of the stage and even in the 204 level where we were you are not too high. All seats have good views but if you are on the very ends you may have some difficulty. The seats themselves are padded and have good but not great legroom, but they are really close to each other so I hope you like your neighbor because legs will be touching. For our show, about a quarter of the seats were not sold and we were in a section that was mostly empty. They have numerous outdoor clean port-o-potties with a red or green light to let you know if it's in use, and they each actually flush. They also have a lobby tent area for shirts, tchotchkes, liquor, and carnival food like pretzels, hotdogs, cotton candy, and popcorn along with Coke. It's all on the expensive side, and you may not bring your own food or water in. Parking is free and plentiful. My wife and I were glad we got to have a date night and see the show even if it was on a weekday. Discounted $65 tickets for $36 each, a $25 vodka lemonade (really good), $7 Coke bottle, $12 popcorn, $5 Peanut M&M's (maybe $6). A fun show and recommended! Go see Cirque - BAZZAR!

Not a safe or trustworthy place for your children…read more I am devastated that I did not write this review sooner in hopes it could have helped keep the two babies seriously injured there safe and out of this place. The teacher that is in jail for harming the babies was also my daughter's infant room teacher. Absolutely devastated for the babies and their families. Their lives will never be the same. And livid at the statement issued by the center. It is more of the same from them. My daughter was in the infant room at Oaks and early on we had concerns about the safety, unprofessional processes, and unwillingness of the Director as well as the previous or past owner to have open, honest, productive conversations about issues that came up. The Director literally said to me "Michelle, you just need to stop this and trust us". No, I will not just trust you or anyone with my infant. Our primary issues were: 1. Unsafe entrance in that anyone could walk through the doors by following others through with no checks or protocal for checking 2. No transparency when my daughter moved to the toddler room on who was changing her diapers even though this had been provided in the infant room and this became a battle with the director when it should have been an easy thing 3. Staff that was doing at least double duty as both carers and cleaners 4. A broken fence lock that was never fixed in the play area 5. My daughter always wanted to get the heck of there when I picked her up unlike the daycare that I moved her to where she sometimes doesn't want to leave for a good while after we get there 6. Some staff were very disheveled. I didn't want my daughter to think that was a normal way of being. After many attempts to be collaborative and open with the owners and the director, it was obvious that if a serious problem arose that these are not the people you'd want by your side to work through it. I left before anything serious happened. There is an incident I recall in the infant room where my daughter did have unexplained injuries while in the care of Catalina Baldwin while the other teacher was out on vacation. I thank god that it was not serious, but it could have been. The only explanation I ever got was that there was no incident at school and it probably happened at home or in her car seat. We were lucky.

My child attended Oaks and had the same little girl in the three and fours that would bully her physically, emotionally and verbally. As this is shocking enough at 3/4 years old the staff allowed it. The owner Alice, director Christine and teacher Alayna did not take appropriate action to find a solution to the other child's aggressive daily behavior, toward my child and others. After me telling them numerous times for months and months this is not okay, they still did not take action. I asked to speak with the child's parents and they refused, well never Even cared to get back to me. They had ample time to correct the situation and were well aware of the child's behavior. My last straw was when I picked my daughter up and she had a scratch on her face, lips were scratched up with a huge bubble on them. No one could tell me what happened , the adults at this center asked me to ask my 4 year old what happened. This is the care they provide to young children!! Horrifying to say the least. Alice the owner labeled my daughter sensitive since she would cry at drop off and after pick up in the car. Well if someone was poking at you all day and saying nasty things wouldn't anyone be upset, Especially at four years old. The center also knew my Husband was dying of cancer and he unfortunately has passed. Per a teacher that left they would not console my daughter if she talked about her Father and was upset they would leave her by herself. Another huge wow of failure from the adults. Lastly, the teachers come and go every few weeks. Oaks had the potential to be great but failed miserably. My child was taken out by me because the other child I guess is allowed to run the show and do whatever she pleases to whoever. Isn't that a great lesson to teacher both children I'm this situation . Thankfully my child is thriving at her new school and lis safe and back to herself. Don't be fooled like I was. Oh and good luck getting a conference with your child's teacher after asking for a month it still never happened.

It was cool that I got to meet a bunch of the best and show dogs but a lot of the owners were real uppity and nasty attitudes. I thought it was hysterical I wasn't bothered by it at all The thing that sucks for me was how crowded it got to see the actual show there was these giant beams that blocked part of the show so I had to keep moving around. The worst part was that there was nothing to eat there and a bottle of water was like $5. I mean they had things like gross looking french fries and junk food that I won't eat so I starved. There were vendors where I bought some treats for my dog. And Purina handed out some good samples so that was nice.
