The show was…read moreabsolutely hilarious, and it couldn't have been a more perfect way to celebrate both my birthday and my engagement. This place also holds a special place in my heart because it's where I went on my very first date with my fiancé, which makes coming back even more meaningful. Bob and his team are truly incredible--so talented, welcoming, and genuinely funny. A special shoutout to Madison, who made me feel completely comfortable and confident when I was on stage. That kind of energy makes all the difference. I can't recommend this place enough--funny, memorable, and full of great people. I already want to go back!

While comedy often involves pushing boundaries, the humor felt one-sided and dismissive of a faith that is deeply important to many people. What stood out to us was the apparent double standard. It seemed unlikely that the performers would make similarly critical jokes about certain other groups or belief systems without concern for offending the audience. As a result, the show came across less as lighthearted comedy and more as an effort to promote a particular viewpoint. We understand that not everyone shares the same beliefs, and we respect differing perspectives. However, we would have appreciated a more balanced and inclusive approach that did not single out Christianity for ridicule. Audience members who value their Christian faith may want to be aware of this aspect of the show's content before attending.

After we decided between paper and electronic programs, we were walked over to the stage and directed to sit higher up if we had lawn chairs, and lower if we did not. The show started on time at 8pm with the sun already tucked away. And as it went on, the sky grew a pink glow, and darkened, as electric lights took their place. Through it all, the play went on, even as planes intermittedly (loudly) flew by overhead from Logan Airport. After all, the show must go on! Though the stage was small, the cast of 10 made do on the stage, and awaited visibly in the wings when they were not in the scene. Sure, we had difficulties hearing whenever there was a plan going by, but that did not stop me from enjoying an evening out (OUT) at the theater.

On maternity leave and needing companionship, Jessie becomes fast friends with her neighbor, Lina who is also a new mom. Another set of neighbors with a newborn provide complexity and spice to the issues and action. This comedy is deep and honest about the lived experiences of new mothers. The issues addressed are both contemporary and timeless. An excellent 4-person cast delivers witty dialogue with impeccable timing. The acting is note-perfect and maintains emotional intensity.
