What an incredible show! We enjoyed all the acts and there was never a dull moment. We opted for front row ringside tickets which were worth every penny but honestly the venue is so intimate that there isn't a bad seat in the house. The arena seats behind the VIP section would be a great cheaper option with awesome views of the entire show. The whole cast is so talented and people of every age would be in awe of these performers. Take the entire family for an unforgettable night!

The show provides endless entertainment for both adults and kids, with not a dull moment in sight. The entire cast displays remarkable talent and leaves you in awe. It's truly worth every penny!

A MUST DO! 4 & 1/3 Stars for Circus Vargas The Greatest of Ease April 2019. There are no animal acts here just humans. We got Comp Tickets for this Show. They have Discount Tickets @ Goldstar for This Event. This took place in Canoga Park but they have several Circus Vargas Shows going on in & around SOCAL. Check your local listing. The Parking here is FREE which is always a Big Plus. They have a Clown, Acrobats,, Aerialists, a Juggler & Trapeze Artists. The two coolest acts were The Flying Trampoline Acrobats flying off a building to the song Sing Sing Sing a 1940s Big Band number. They were Amazing! The other stand out performers were the Trio of Motorcycle Stunt Artists Going Upside Down & in the Dark in a Metal Globe. They were also Amazing! They have an Intermission between the Acts so you can get a bite to eat in their Concession Stand. Lots of Fun @ Circus Vargas The Strongest of Ease April 2019 in Canoga Park. On the way out they were giving out Free Child's Coupon Tickets for another performance. It was for a Free seat in the bleachers or it could be used as an Upgrade as well. It used to be, you had to have mega bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

    Tightrope dude was really good

Wow, what a nice time I had with my son today. These performers were top notch and funny. Incredibly entertaining for all. Loved the old circus theme. We'll go again for sure.

We saw the Circus Vargas "Dreaming of Pirates" show, in May 2018, and my family really enjoyed the show. The Circus was located on the North/West corner of the Westfield Promenade Mall. The staff and performers were all very nice and helpful. The show is about 2 hours long, and they have a 15 minute intermission half way through the show. The show was great! It has a pirate theme throughout the performance, and had everything you would expect in a circus; clowns, music, audience participation, trampoline, dance, tightrope, trapeze, juggling, motorcycles racing in a steel cage, and lots of fun. We have seen previous Circus Vargas shows in past years, and this "Dreaming of Pirates" was our favorite. There is a snack bar with popcorn, sodas, waters, nachos, cotton candy, hotdogs, candy, etc. There is also souvenir T-shirts, and lots of glow toys for the kids. They took a picture of our family before the show started, and you can buy them with a Circus Vargas frame for $10. After the show some of the performers stand outside for photo ops. The best value seats are the Arena which are $37, and are first come, first serve. We arrived about 45 minutes early, and got to sit directly behind and a little above the $72 VIP seats. I actually think our seats were better than the VIP seats. But you have to arrive early to get the best seats. The reality is that all the seats are descent, even the cheap $25 bleacher seats are not bad. I believe AAA had children free tickets, which are good for the bleacher and arena seats only. In the same parking lot is the delicious Maggiano's Italian restaurant, about a 1 minute short walk from the circus tent. Make it a really fun event and have a nice meal before or after the Circus.

Our…read moreoldest has moved on to other interests, but our 7-year-old continues with ballet and loves it. I've watched Elite grow from a smaller studio into the powerhouse it is today. Elite is an excellent dance studio, from day one through their very polished recitals. It's important to note that this is not a cutesy/playtime type of studio. Dance is a discipline, and so dress code and presentation are taken seriously. For first-timers, that might feel a little intimidating, but there's a reason behind it. Hair and makeup need to be spot-on for recitals, because there's always a chance your cute 3 or 4-year-old might get on stage and just stand there! But guess what? They'll look fantastic doing it. And then, year after year, you'll see their confidence and ability grow. As a parent, you will need to stay on top of recital packets to know who/what/where/when, and I find Elite to be very thorough in the material they send out, or if you simply call them ahead of time. Another perk.. they have a professional photographer who takes photos on stage and backstage at shows/recitals for FREE. As well as a videographer, which is very much appreciated. The owner, Toni, taught my oldest years ago and is fantastic, both as a teacher and as a business owner. Neither of my girls have ever been on team, but both have always enjoyed their classes. The teachers are wonderful with age-appropriate instruction (shout out to Miss Princess with the littles) and technique. My 7-year-old only takes one ballet class currently, yet she could not be more excited to be performing in The Nutcracker for her second year in a row. Needless to say, we love Elite!

A few weeks ago I went to a show that I was very excited about since last year. I spent money on the good seats up front (in this economy it was definitely a thought out purchase). My excited was out the door a few minutes in. They say explicitly at the start of each show that there are no phones allowed. Like I mentioned earlier, I've been to shows here before and have witness staff be quick to shut down anyone trying to take a picture or video. I really liked that about this venue because it allows for the audience to enjoy the show without any distractions. That was not the case this time around. Not long after the beginning of the show, phones started coming out. I though, "for sure someone will come tell them something soon". Spoiler: No one ever did, not once, the whole show. Other parties caught on that they would not be asked to stop so they joined in. I had 6 different phones going up and down in front of me the whole show. The most upsetting part for me was that staff did come into the area when guiding late comers to their seats. They saw the phones out and did nothing about it. I was so bummed by the end of the show to say the least. Now that I know the phone rule is no longer enforced I don't think I'll be back. I really liked that I could go to the Soraya and collectively experience a show in the moment without a sea of phones ruining the experience. However, that does not seem to be the case anymore.

We enrolled our son in guitar lessons ten years ago and never in our wildest dreams did we think it would turn into this. After about 2-3 live band performances each year, our son is flourishing in music and has developed an artistic personality that has lead to his band, The Silence, to do great things. They recently won first place at Battle of the Bands at Northridge Park on May 16th. They will be performing at the Valley Blockfest in Chatsworth on June 28th along with having their very first gig at the Whiskey a Go Go on July 17th. The environment at SoundCheck is so welcoming and encouraging that every student we see perform there gets better and better every time.
