Stevie is a class act and a genuinely kind person! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Went on a last minute whim when our neighbors said they were going. Took my son, not knowing what to expect. I'm so glad we went! It was an unbelievable experience. These folks are so unbelievably talented! Just doing seemingly impossible feats and wowing the crowd! The seats were comfortable enough and there didn't seem to be any bad seats. We sat in the front left section, half way up and had an amazing view. The ringmaster is an amazing singer and Stevie the entertainer and yoyo master really know how to keep the crowd entertained in between the acts. Don't hesitate getting tickets if you're wondering whether or not you'll enjoy it! We had a blast!

Circus Vargas is the place to go !

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER ! My whole family and I were just amazed and stunned the whole show ! Just amazing ! Lost for words

Circus Vargas was a dangerous twenty-minutes walk or an under five-minutes drive from where I live in Burbank. It comes to town around the same time every year. Discounted internet tickets sales (LocalFlavor or RetailMeNot promo codes) coupled with $10 cash parking per car, it was definitely an economical circus event. There were acrobatics, gymnasts, jugglers, motorcycle stunts and plenty more... They had a interactive pre-show that was just for children. Not too many children in the audience. It was packed with more couples and singles than families. And it was a whole family, all-age group pleasing show. I love clowns. Disappointed by there not being more as well as the quality of the scripted clown show. Clowning around doesn't always symbolize being bad. There are different personalities. Sometimes more mean than cute or nice or funny. I was upset about the clown acts... Until they busted out the saxophones. But I went mainly for the clowns not a music concert. So, I thought about it and I tossed my collectible glass. I don't regret it. Who needs a nasty flashy glass anyways... Friendly parking attendants, circus show entertainers, employees and audience.

Just saw in Burbank (2/8/2020), and the show was spectacular! Definitely a spectacle worth the ticket price and more. People of all ages couldn't take their eyes away from the hula-hooping, contortionists, trampolinists, or trapeze artists. Celebrate Circus Vargas's 50th year by laughing, clapping, and cheering along! Definitely a memory for a lifetime

3.5 but they work hard, some really good performances some eh... But 4 stars I'm feeling generous. $22 per ticket w/ a $10 discount somehow - ask the wife. Kids under 2 free... Yeah she's under 2 lol! Parking is $10 ugh! Hot as balls in that tent! Obstructive views and kids standing on bleachers... maybe pay for the red plastic seats for the best view? Maybe not... bleachers aren't bad. They have the standard snacks and trinkets. Fun time, if you want something different. WATCH OUT FOR THE GUM ON THE SEATS! F***ING s.o.b.s!! Have to take off my shorts when I get in the car. :(

My family and I had an amazing time today at the show! Every performance was so impressive & everyone was so so nice! It was so professional and entertaining with funny clown shows on the side! We will definitely see this again!

Thank you to Circus Vargas for their generosity and an amazing show and for helping our Nonprofit Summer Camp out with tickets at the Del Amo Mall location. It was a great show, with amazing performances. The kids had a blast with memories that will last a lifetime!!

I went here this past Sunday for their last appearance before they take their show to San Pedro. The show was very entertaining. I took my 19 month old daughter (who usually gets fussy being in the same spot for a while), but the music, the lights and the acts had her dancing and clapping. They are not your average circus, meaning no animals or clowns... just talented performers, magicians, acrobats, etc. As expected, the concession prices are a bit overpriced (water is 3$, hot dogs are 4$, nachos are 6$). My complain is how overpriced their ticket prices are (they average at about $40 regular admission). If you're a big family, total adds up quickly if youre paying parking, admission, snacks, glow sticks ($8-$12) and photos ($10). The show is two hours, with a 15 minute intermission and a pre-show for kids.

We loved, loved, the show!!!! Even though we were in the second row, all seats in the small tent had good views of the performers! The seats are reasonable, the entertainment was fabulous! The music is appealing as well. The performers also work before the show to show guests to their seats, I loved that, it reminds me of what a circus must have been like 100 years ago.

The lovely cast, even took pictures w audience after

Just go to this circus, support them and don't "wait until next year". It's intimate, thrilling and gorgeous to look at.

Tickets for these shows can be purchased online at www.gtc.org Maybe, I'll give GTC five stars if I ever watch a stageplay there, but that's not today. I should be at the Betsy Leuke Creative Arts Center (5-stars), Photography Reception instead of yelping in front the theater. Visited 12/9/2016…read more Purchased Fill a Seat LA during the summer and FINALLY used it for the first time last night. VERY difficult to find this place!! I used my WAZE and it took us to the Recreation Center! We decided to drive around the block, but my WAZE still took us here! I decided to park and we walked towards the recreation center and what do we see?!?! A small sign with an arrow pointing towards the back of the Recreation Center. We followed the path and found another sign and there it was.... The Grove Theater!! Looked REALLY small from the outside. When we entered the theater, you right away are in the lobby/intermission area. They sold cookies and drinks only. Small seating area, but nicely done and looks cozy. The theater looks new. The seats were comfortable. The theater states it holds 99 seats which I found hard to believe. By the time the play started (we saw A Christmas Carol), the theater was about 1/4 full. The play itself was well done with only three actors. It's amazing what they did with their "costume changes" utilizing their red or green scarf. The male actor changed his character just by messing up his hair and changing his voice and mannerisms! The play was well done and I would highly recommend it. No intermission. Only 90 minutes. Never a dull moment. Plenty of free street parking. They have their own parking lot, but I don't have a clue as to how to get to it!! We would definitely return.

As for the venue, the Sunday performances require masks and when a customer in front of me inquired about it the staff member indicated that they offer Sundays for those customers who want to wear masks. Doesn't make sense to me because if a customer wants to wear a mask during any performance in this venue they should be able to. Upon that said, there were a few customers not wearing any masks (again, makes no sense). The other con is they offer refreshments for sale at reasonable prices; however, you cannot take them into the theatre. I have only been to one other theatre that did not allow food nor drinks so you have to arrive early if you want refreshments or you can purchase during the intermission but have to hurry to finish up. Although staff was friendly and informative, the venue was cramped although plenty of seating is available. I doubt I will patronize this theatre again unless it was a "to die for" performance showing.

We will definitely return to this very friendly theater and we hope to see Kent again.
