Never have I ever felt so disrespected and targeted from a bar or restaurant. On Saturday, a group of my friends and I went to Circuit breaker to celebrate our friends 21st. Out of 8 of us 3 were underage. Circuit breaker is 18+ until 9pm. We knew this going in. We went in at 8:20 and were fully prepared to leave before 9. The three of us got Xs on our hands and had no issue. We then proceeded to go to the restroom because most of the girls had to pee. We were followed in the restroom by a female bartender. The female bartender went into a stall and proceeded to "spy" on us. We know this because she went into an "out of order" stall. In the restroom we joked a little about washing the XS of our hands. However we clearly were joking. The bartender then comes out and says "we're y'all going to wash your XS off"? We say "oh no, it was just a joke. We all still have our XS". All 3 of us still had very visible XS. One of the X girls had to wash her hands because she used the restroom, but everyone's XS were very clear and the other 2 x girls were untouched. The bartender proceeds to say "just so you know" and leaves. We were confused by the whole interaction but decided to move on. We went outside and looked at the Nintendo Switch setup and wanted to use it. We didn't step one foot at the bar, not even the girls who could legally drink. The bouncer who put the XS on our hands came up to us and said "so I think we know what happened". We were a bit shocked and looked confused. He then proceeds to tell us he's kicking us out. We explained that all our Xs are on and if he wants to kick us out he has to explain why. We didn't put up a fight and just decided to leave. As we were walking out another bouncer (female) was sitting on the stool and gave us an ugly look. We leave not causing a scene. As we're outside the bouncer (female) who was on the stool proceeds to take pictures of us. We felt uncomfortable and just decided to end the night. The next day we wake up to the female bouncer posting the situation on her story. We will admit we should not have joked about the situation, and they have reason to kick us out for joking. We understand they don't want to get in trouble, we admit to our wrongs. However, we do not appreciate being spied on, feeling humiliated, uncomfortable, and having some female bouncer (who had nothing to do with the situation. She sat on the stool way after we came in. We did not talk to her once.) post about us on her social media. Especially saying how "she kicked us out of "her" bar. Miss girl had nothing to do with the situation. We were also mostly allowed to drink, only 3 were underage. We will not be returning here ever again. Not to mention the floors were DISGUSTING. read more
