I had a really lovely time with my family. My toddler daughter who is almost 4 really enjoyed the show. The adults did too. The clown was funny and the acts were superb. I especially loved the motorcycles and the group of men that danced as if they had no bones. A really fun treat for our family.

Before the review begins, I wanted to note that I usually do not like going to the circus because all I've heard (and seen) about how the animals are treated. I reluctantly went to the Hermanos Vazquez circus and was greatly surprised as to how good it was. It wasn't all about the animals as most circuses are. The few animals they did have performing, you could tell they were very well taken care of. There were many acts and comedy skits that everyone loved among the animal shows. While almost everything is is Spanish, you can use context clues to figure out what they are saying. The actors involve the audience and children as well to keep you on the edge of your seats. It's also nice that the circus event itself only holds maybe 200 people max. That means it is not only less crowded, but parking is a lot easier. There were some things I did not like though. The circus itself is in a big tent that is outside...while there are bleacher type seats to sit in, the ground is not covered which means mosquitoes and flies. Also, it is not very well ventilated or air conditioned. Not to mention, all of their restrooms are port-a-potties, which are just disgusting in theirselves. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the show and will be back again!

These people will try to get over on you if you let them! They tried charging my daughter $15 for a SMALL snowcone in a plastic cup. When she refused and called them out on it the lady said she would only charge her $10 which was ridiculous as well. Whoever would fall for paying $15 they let them! They also walk up to kids and had them a light up glow stick toy knowing kids are gonna want it. They then look at the parent and say that'll be $17 hahaha! And to top it all off it was soooo freaking hot in there people were complaining!!! They waited until the show was literally about to start before they turned the air on. Not giving a crap about paying customers being uncomfortable!

The show was amazing absolutely amazing and would of course love to see it again but they really liked to nickel and dime you on everything which I understand running a business but 15 dollars for a snow cone was very over priced and there was only one flavor will most likely see next year but definitely not fall for all the extras it was also extremely hot and they had the air going when the performers were out there but other than that my family and I loved it

This is a great show, don't miss it. The negative Karen comments are best ignored. The clown was terrific.

The circus is fun. All the acts are great! It's in English. Avoid the expensive concessions & light up toys.

First we got ramen and dumplings. Small cup of ramen.. 3 dumplings not exactly worth the cost but L wanted to try it. The char siu piece was good. Broth was ...ok. They prob use sun noodles. There was something I didn't like. There was a weird aftertaste. Like metallic.. prob the water.. I dunno. L got his usually sugar cane drinks. Just ok for me. Joon was sold out of everything by 9ish.. but the lady still gave us a sample leftover of the beef dish. Should've gone to her stall first. Loved her food my first visit. Very short line to get pepper pot over rice. It was really good... I got it again at the end but they ran out of rice .. definitely needs rice with that sauce. The polish sausage is huge. And the pierogies were good too. I liked the one with jalapeños. A lot of stalls were sold out of items. A lot of people were lined up for tacos and grilled corn. I mean you can get that anywhere... I don't like the skewers from the night market .. I've tried it at 2 completely different vendors and it's either the seasoning that we don't care for.. or it's so overcooked. I get it from a street vendor and it's so good in comparison to what we've tried here. If only she had a stand at the night market. It's not expensive but some of the food isn't that great. It's fun to come check it out once a year but a few of my favorites are no longer there so it's not really worth going..

While Smorgasburg is up to.... what, $20 a plate, that same amount can get you 3-4 tastings from a variety of stalls here that are all more authentic and tasty than what the former can really offer. First visit of the year here so I had to go all out with my buds and we got a Brazilian Steak Sandwich, Pork Intestines (my personal fave), Chicken Curry Roti, Jerk Chicken, Pork Belly, Cheese Stuffed Plantains, Fujianese style Pork Ribs, Vietnamese Lychee Coffee, Pakora, Polish Sausage, Octopus Skewer, and Passionfruit Juice. Overall, most everything was quite good and shoutout to my two favorites that I always get every visit, the pork intestine skewers and the passionfruit juice. I don't know how much longer this place has at its price point, but I know I'm going to milk it for as long as I possibly can and enjoy the flavors this market has to offer to its fullest.

Historically speaking I had never been to the Queens Theatre before the other night when I caught…read morethe NYC appearance by the band Rolling Quartz. The band had embarked on their North American tour from their native South Korea. Since I had never seen the band before as well, the adventure to a new space for me made the whole thing more interesting to me. Now I travel via the MTA, and from Bay Ridge this event space is a bit of a hike. It's the R train to the N to the 7 to a fairly decent walk. Those who are driving or taking an Uber might have a little better trek experience than I did but that being said once I made it past the famed Unisphere and over to New York State Pavilion, it was time to go into the Queens Theatre. When I arrived there were already about 100 attendees lined up because the band was doing all sorts of VIP things with them. A cool part of the agenda for sure. Inside the theatre is a spacious lobby area with seating all around near the windows. There are concessions there but I only saw drinks being sold when I looked. There was a small merchandise table for the band set up and I imagine that when other shows happen here this will be their space as well. Right off the bat I connected to a complimentary WiFi signal which was good but seemed to go on and off during the course of the performance. Once I was in the actual performance space I was quite impressed. The stage is sizable which was great because this was a five member band with a full backline and the seats were oh so comfortable. Yes this was a Rock Show and people would likely be standing throughout the performance but when it was time to sit you could do so in comfort. I positioned myself in the eighth or so row on the aisle since I needed to shoot photographs and I was happy to report that there were no bad sightlines in the theater. The sound was also clear and impressive which was partially a testimony to the bands team on the tour. While I didn't get to explore the venue all that much outside of the show, I did see one of the spacious side rooms which I guess they do talks in or smaller events. The band has set up their meet and greets there so it was in and out in terms of time to examine. There was a complimentary WiFi that I did find to be spotty at times but I feel this was based on the amount of people choosing to live stream the show. There were obviously restrooms and while I can only speak for the men's facility it was quite clean which is always a pleasant find. Overall this was a great experience for me but I cannot fathom when and if I might make a return based on the logistics and scarcity of what most interests me happening here. I will be keeping tabs on their calendar for good measure just in case and maybe some other localized Hard Rock bands can look into it or even local promoters who wish to do something that is no too crazy.

We had a hard time finding parking as the show was about to start and the park is always busy. There were two small lots nearby that were full. Upon entering check in was easy. They had a small concession stand. The seating was great with no obstructed views. The play itself was kid friendly and told the meaning and traditions of the special day. It was very informative and entertaining. I enjoyed the different styles of dances performed, the colorful outfits, the creative scenery (which was simple but effective). I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to visiting again.

With this said, I want to share my story with Real Brave. My son Lukas has been coming here for a bit. In the time Lukas has been here, he has learned to play the piano and while he is in fact, not naturally inclined towards instruments, he has slowly but certainty learned much . My son has benefited greatly, not just his skill set, but also his confidence. Nothing compares to see your child blossom, especially on these days where our boys are sometimes persona non grata. These people are patient and foment growth in the child's character. I am a witness to this and, confessedly, I am a borderline cynic. But, you must give credit to these caring and patient instructors. I believe my sons instructor's name is Sam Ye (my bad for not remembering), and he has been extraordinary to my son, and I have seen him engage with others with the same mannerism. Other team members also seem to display the same dedication to their students, but my exposure to them has been limited. A point of interest is that they have a couple of concerts every year and your child can participate, which by default, will help them in social settings. Finally, I appreciate their flexibility to make up missed lessons which is more than other, one on one instructors, could put up with. I recommend Real Brave and I want to thank them for the service they provide to our neighborhood. I wish them all the success possible.
