This is a very poorly run business. That said, Covid-19 and its aftermath probably has a role in the following events. In May, I dropped off two carpets to be cleaned and it took them more than eight weeks to get the job done. They originally told me two weeks. At several points over the two month period, I stopped in and politely asked them about the status of the job, but they could not provide any. That is, they literally did not know when they would get the rugs cleaned. (I tried calling during their regular store hours but nobody ever picked up the phone, so I got the hint that an in-person visit was needed to connect with them.) Finally, after two months, I went in to the Plymouth office and told them I wanted the rugs back within a week, whether or not they had been cleaned. I made it clear I would take additional steps if they were not returned within a week. I was a polite as possible. Later that day, they called me and told me the rugs were ready for pickup, and that they had been cleaned. So, three days later I went into the store to pick them up during regular office hours (8 - 12 on Saturday morning). The door was open, the window was open, but there was no one there. I tried calling the number but no one answered. I waited 20 minutes. Finally, someone showed up and gave me my rugs. They were cleaned, as promised. The jobs was pretty expensive (more than $300), but at least it's finally done. That's the last time I take them anything like this. read more
