I was honestly shocked. I wasn't doing anything inappropriate -- just using the machine that's there for customers. As someone who has supported this business regularly, I don't see why using the change machine should be an issue. The interaction made me feel uncomfortable and like I had done something wrong when I hadn't. Because of this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. Unfortunately, I won't be recommending this place to others after how this situation made me feel.

I periodically visit Conway, and when I do, I visit several places for several different reasons; Home Depot, Lowes, Settlers Green, etc. So, if any of my clothes need alterations, Nancy will be one of the stops that I make on my next visit to Conway. She has a great sense of humor. She is a pleasure to work with. She does a great job. She charges a reasonable price for her work. And she has a reasonable turn-around time. The problem lies in…read morethe fact that there is no number to call to check your balance on the card and despite the card saying that there's a number on the machine to call to check your balance when I call Cleary's to get the number on the machine there is no phone number. I don't know if this is a scam to get people to come back to check the balance on their card thinking they can do their laundry and then finding out they can't because nowadays with the way money is and the way people are having a hard time of it there should be a number to call to get your card balance. I have dealt with many card operated laundromats before and this has never been a problem there's usually a number on the back of the card or there's a number on the machine that the person at the laundromat can give you. This is bad business. They don't care whether or not you have to waste time to go down and get your card balance even if you have nothing on your card and barely any gas in your tank just to see if you have enough money to do your laundry. For those with many House Guests - Helen's Laundry service is a game-changer. For years, I have…read morelived in a lake house near Helen's business where guests and family love to come to hang out. However, once the visit ends, the large piles of the used towels, sheets, blankets, etc. quickly turn the fun of the weekend into a distant memory. That happened until I found that Helen's Laundromat will pick it all up from my doorstep on Mondays and deliver it back to me all neatly folded, stacked and wrapped to prevent wetness. There is no additional charge for the pickup and delivery. Booking the pickup via text is super easy; then an automated appointment is created to remind me. I also get a confirmation once delivered or a phone call if there is a question. Helen's service sends me an online bill that is easy to pay, so I don't have to be there for the delivery. The cost to me is very reasonable in comparison to the personal hours I would spend catching up and the hit to my utility bills for extra washing and drying. We don't use the service every week, which seems fine with Helen, who is gracious whenever I need her.
