GTC Riverwatch had the snacks and amenities other theaters had, plus they were spacious and clean. I was also glad their bags of popcorn were not pieces but the whole corn. Many occasions at AMC or Regal, especially at night if I ordered popcorn, it would be pieces of popcorn filling up my bag; not fun to enjoy. I'm glad GTC River keeps their popcorn inventory fresh and ensures customers don't get scraps. They have seem to have special room isolated on the right wing that offers 4D experiences where the theaters in the left wing are all regular viewing, but all their seats are reclining and clean. Ticket prices are fraction of other competitors, but they do not offer military discount. Overall a great experience. Their staff does a great job at maintaining cleanliness within the theater and restrooms. Definitely will be doing the extra drive out here than go to my local Regals or AMC!

They came in and saw nothing. Another 45 minutes of this had happened, but this time I went ahead and said something to them directly. The woman and, mind you a mother, started cursing at me. I went and got another supervisor who was with a cop. I told them what was happening. As I was heading back to the theater, out comes the woman still cursing at me. With the cop and manager standing there, she admits this was happening. Instead of reprimanding her, the manager said she could move me and give me tickets while nothing happens to this lady and her children (one of them even sleeping btw). The cop said they can't do anything because it's heresy, but yet the woman admitted that it was happening.

As we drove down from Myrtle Beach in moderate rain, heavy winds, and under a tornado watch, I was concerned that we might lose the opportunity to see a drive-in movie. But, alas, the friendly owner assured us that the three shows would go on and that the concession stand would remain open until the movies ended. In addition to watching a movie, we also split a hearty meal of pork BBQ sandwich, beef hot dog with chili, French fries, and soda. More choices were also available including traditional movie favorites like popcorn and candy. The young workers in the concessions area were friendly, and got our order right. However checkout was fine and was able to use my Regal points. The theater seats itself have nice recliners. However going in unfortunately one of the seats we chose was a mess of crumbs (guessing since there's minimal staff), so I had to clean it off. The sound in the movie was just incredibly loud, even with the previews. However still glad that this is a theater that still offers discount days, so was happy to still make use of that deal. Note - there are no benches outside of the theater.
