It may take 10 to 15 mins but the the results is worth the wait! We end up getting 8 spicy chicken burger meals rather than a bucket meal as it's cheaper to get burger meal here than their competitors like KFC! Unfortunately for Tandoori Corner, they're located very close to Bunga Raya, my favourite Malaysian buffet restaurant. However, last Friday, my sister and I arrived at Bunga Raya to find that they were undergoing renovation, which presented the perfect chance for me to suggest getting a takeaway from Tandoori Corner. They have a wide range of meat and vegetarian curries as well as briyanis. There is also a selection of different rices and breads to accompany the curries. We had a meat bhuna and meat makhani with chicken briyani and some parathas. The taste of the curries lived up to the smells - lots of fresh spices, herbs and proper masalas had obviously gone into the making of these curries. What made it even more amazing was the price. Each meat curry was only £3.50 for a very big box of meat-heavy curry. I love it when a place lives up to all that mental promise that you put onto it!

Blimey! These Nandos chickens have been doing a good impression of rabbits and have been breeding…read morelike mad. Over 70 Nandos restaurants are listed on Yelp in and around the London area alone. The chain has blossomed thanks to a simple formula and fixed menu with easy cooking, limited staff service required and pitching itself as slightly more upmarket than regular fast food joints but keeping prices relatively low for a meal out. The main attraction is the chicken, which is offered at 4 'heat settings', ranging from no heat at all lemon and herb all the way to 'don't be stupid'. Being from Malaysia, I am used to chilli heat in my food and even the 2 chilli setting was making my eyes water. I have a new respect for the Portugese ability to eat hot food after visiting Nandos and getting a flavour of their peri peri sauce here. There are a few starters on the menu. Main courses are built around the chicken - pieces, burgers, liver with a choice of sides, that are generally filling but nothing special. The sweetcorn is disappointing and often undercooked to point of being unpleasant to chew through. The desserts look pre-made at a central site. You grab a table, note the number of the table and order at the till. The food then delivered to the table. Cutlery, serviettes and sauces are all self-service as are the soda drinks if you opt for those. I'm only awarding 3 stars as I find the chicken pieces not very generous in size, the sides and desserts being disappointing and the fact that my feet usually take me to the KFC nearby instead.

The great thing about eating in at Nandos is the bottomless coke. Wings are also quite good. They have an awesome tangible loyalty system as well.

At first, I thought the chips tasted great! So I decided to go there more often. However, the more I went, the more I saw that their definition of their portion sizes began to shrink. So I decided to stop going. Also at the time, my sister tried the place out. She told me that when she went, they purposely tried to short change her (she gave them £10 for a portion of small chips, and they didn't give her any change). When she challenged them, they just started laughing, and she had to argue to get her money from them. From my personal experience and from what I heard, I give this 1 star!
