As challenging as an experience as this was, I am so thankful for Caring Pathways and the service…read morethey provided. Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

There was so much empathy throughout the experience, that it took away the awkward or embarrassing concerns. They also offered counseling services. Afterwards we received a beautiful carved wooden box to hold the ashes- we were not expecting anything this nice. To me, this was worth the higher price you pay- rather than going to the vet to do this.

I highly recommend Green Heart Pet Water Cremation during the heartbreaking loss of a beloved pet…read more Dr. Niedens went above and beyond to help me through the passing of my cherished pug, Bernie. She was professional, compassionate, prompt in her response, and incredibly patient during such a difficult time. Green Heart took exceptional care in returning my baby home, including beautiful clay and ink paw prints, a thoughtfully decorated jar with his fur, and a lovely memorial box containing his ashes. Every detail was handled with respect and love. I, also, appreciated their water cremation which is better for the environment. I am deeply grateful for the care and dignity shown to my sweet boy and to me during this very painful moment.

I contacted Green Heart Pet Water Cremation and Matt walked me through the process. Feeling at ease that Honey would be handled with respect and the process a lot gentler than the traditional cremation. Honey was adopted from a shelter and given a second chance with me when her original owners passed. My heart is full that Matt had saved some of her ashes in a urn for me, and the rest was sent back to Iowa so her ashes could be scattered with her original owners. Thank you for showing me compassion and re-assurance during a difficult and sad time. I would highly recommend Green Heart.
