Fun fact: Guthrie's was my college foodie favorite in Tallahassee, FL. Seeing this location on our route (when we stopped for gas) gave me all the nostalgia feels and we had to pull over, STAT! The hubs had never heard of Guthrie's, but graciously accompanied me on my trip down memory lane as I squealed with glee, and enjoyed it as well. Although it's new (3 years old)-- this Guthrie's is the cleanest I've ever seen a fast food restaurant in my life. I pray they keep that up! The manager took our order and was so warm and friendly. True to form, I ordered a "Gut box" for old times' sake, and it was as perfect as it was circa 2003! The chicken tenders were fantastically golden. The buttery toast had that crispiness (not soggy from steam in the box like the other guys) to it that I love. Those fries were perfection as well. I hoovered everything down so fast I forgot to take photos. All in all, it was a great Guthrie's reunion for me and a great first time experience for the hubs. A win is a win!

When I question why it was over $11 she said that it was an extra $2.19 upcharge for green beans. If that is the case it is very misleading that "Choice of side" means an up charge for anything but fries. When I questioned it she insisted multiple times that I did have a choice but if I chose anything but fries it cost more. $11 is in the range of going to an actual restaurant and getting an entree with multiple sides.
