It's a walk up but no one seems to mind me pulling up and parking for a minute to grab my drinks. The pastries are delicious...Almond, Pistachio, Nutella, and White Chocolate croissants...worth the carbs and calories. The aesthetics are really cool. They just added a bench and have tables to sit if you want to sit for a while and get some work done. The vibes is fresh and elevated without a hint of pretentiousness. I was after something basic, my usual of a cold brew with some variety of flavor and almond milk. Sadly, they did not have any sugar free flavorings beyond matcha, which I was not interested in, so I went for half sweet salted caramel with almond milk. I went with a large cold brew and with the add-ins, it came to around $5, which is a solid price! Sadly, the iced coffee was not good. It was borderline sour, which means it had been hanging out for a bit too long. The flavoring and milk couldn't even mask it and I could only stomach about half of it before calling it a day. Additionally, service was "bleh". Both baristas I encountered were low energy and just odd vibes for a cute local coffee shop. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, as it sounds like their more complex house drinks are a bit more exciting. Now I know, and I wouldn't mind giving them a second go when I find myself back in the area. But until then, solid 2.5 for me.

Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. This was probably a miscommunication of some sort, but I do wonder how long they would have let the food sit there if we hadn't come in. As soon as I got help, I heard my DoorDash customers name called out as ready to be served. I politely said to the cashier "Hi, I'm here to pick up for "customers name"". The cashier literally looked at my customers order, ignored it, and began to help the customer that was behind me. The cashier was very polite and kind to the customer behind me, asking him all sorts of questions, helping him order his items. Ot wasn't until she helped all other customers before she decided to acknowledge that I've been waiting for my customers items to be bagged up before they got cold! Is this really how ya'll treat dashers? Why do Starbucks employees hate us dashers so much? This happens frequently at every Starbucks I've picked up from. DoorDash customers have already prepaid for their items and aren't any different than any other customer. It tasted like pure cinnamon and had absolutely no coffee taste. Needless to say we were very disappointed. We I had hoped for better coffee given the reviews but maybe it was a fluke but whatever it was, we were left with no coffee and a bad taste.
