Stopped at this gas station since I had to get some gas on my way to Kansas City. Prices are outrageous despite having fair gas prices. They have an exact gas station adjacent to it and a competing one next to it. You'd think the prices would be cheap for all of them to stay competitive? WRONG! Overall not too many people here, easy access to I55, not alot of variety of food to choose from. Easy to move around if there's plenty of cars. I do not like a female employee, I cannot recall her name, maybe Kaylee. She sits on a stool & is on her phone all the time with her bf, customers have to hear the bf & her conversations & she keeps talking with customers at the counter to ring up. I won on a Lottery ticket, she refused to cash my ticket in, b'cuz she said I have to pay her money from my winnings!! I won $200 on a ten dollar ticket. She said I tore off the ticket, it was the wrong ticket number for a person before you!! Then she went on to say I did not have to sell YOU that tore off ticket!!! She flat refused to cash in my ticket!! I said, I will take it to Schnucks in the morning then!! And I left. The next morning I went to Schnucks & bought the same scratch off ticket & I WON another $200 dollars!!! It does not do any good to run your smart mouth in any way to customers, the people!! Bad Karma got her, Good Karma Blessed me!!! $400.00!! Yeah!! I went back to Circle K the next day & told this employee, you refused to cash in my scratch off ticket during the time I could cash it in. So I did go to Schnucks & I bought the same ticket & WON another $200!!! She said, "Yeah right!!" I showed her the small ticket receipt's from the Lottery machine. She raged, saying that is the same ticket. I told her the dates are one day apart. She would not look!! I decided that I like the smaller east south Circle K b'cuz of how she treated me after I won. Also I did stop in for gas the other day though, the garbage cans, all of them were full of garbage, there was even a white garbage bag on the grown by a Circle K garbage can. 2 separate shifts could have emptied those garbage cans. The female so-called customer service agent and I'm using customer service. Lightly, it was in no hurry to do. Her job was extremely rude when I asked for a bag and then she refused to bag my stuff. Gasoline price was 7 cents higher per gallon if credit card is used. Coffee price of $1.00 is shown on sign immediately above coffee dispenser: 12 ounce is in very small lettering at the bottom corner and the 12 ounce cups are located 10 feet away from the larger cups, on the other side of the cold drink dispenser; water appears to be 2 for $1.00, but at check-put it was $1.00 each. The store was nice but the bathrooms were not clean. There were a couple of pumps that were out of order. Over all an ok gas station.

This is an old Marathon gas station. The pumps worked fine. The store was not very big and the bathrooms were not very clean. It serves its purpose as a quick place to stop and get gas. It is located not far off of the interstate. There is also a McDonald's close by. read more

The current Store Manager Cathy Baker is very unwelcoming to customers and former employees. I typically stop in every few days or so buy gas and soda. I like to talk to many of the other employees there and today I stopped in for a chat and got a drink, and next thing I know, the store manager Cathy Baker called the store and she told one of the employees to put me on the phone and after talking to her for a brief moment she proceeded to tell me that I needed to leave the store and that I was no longer welcomed there because I no longer worked there. She fired me after i called on a night i was scheduled to work as I had to leave town to assist my deathly ill grandfather and she said there was nothing she could do "On such short notice". I made the choice I needed to make and left town and didn't show up for the weekend I was scheduled for. Upon return she said that I was fired and didn't even give me so much as a write up. I advise everyone who reads this to be cautious around her. read more
