It's not exactly clean, but the parking is easy, and the prices are quite fair! They sell wine, all of which is chilled. Even the red wines. Oh well, things warm up quickly here in South Texas. The clerk behind the counter is extremely nice, saying hi to everyone as they walk in, and chit-chatting the customers, which I appreciated! They sell a weird selection of food and candy. Things like michalada cups without the beer, chamoy candy, and other weird stuff. They have a restroom that I wasn't able to access. There didn't seem to be anyone in there, but it was locked anyhow. They have a wide selection of soft drinks, beer, soda, tea, etc. They also have an impressive selection of incense. They even stock "cannabis" incense. I always thought the point of incense is to cover up the smell of cannabis! I really appreciate the late hours that this place stays open, and the friendly service. Just watch out for the cops here. They tend to hide out in the parking lot, looking for speeders and ruffians on the I-10 frontage road.

It's in the middle of a bunch of ethnic restaurants and foreign grocers by the Medical Center. I've found that the gas is still cheaper just a little bit up the hill at the Valero. But this place is clean, clean, clean. It's spotless! It always seems to be picked up, and the bathrooms are rather clean. I like how they have a full (help yourself) bar for coffee drinks- with nitro cold coffee that puts the local coffee shops on the run. My fav thing about these gas stations is the name brand condiment station, where you can get the fancy stuff - Grey Poupon in little yellow packets, or Cholula hot sauce- Grab handfuls, because this is the good stuff! That lightens my mood instantly. I signed up for the CVS ExtraCare rewards program. So I always get coupons, discounts, and ExtraBucks! I've gotten some amazing deals here on shaving cream, floss, shampoo, contacts solutions, etc. Price is probably a bit higher than HEB, Walmart and the like for the same item. But stress level is much lower! Plus if you take the deals into consideration, you are actually paying less. Take tonight for instance, I bought 4 Oral-B dental floss and got $7 ExtraBucks. I then used the $7 plus a $1 off coupon plus another $2 off manufacture coupon on a bottle of OPTI-FREE Pure Moist contacts solution, I only had to pay $1.5! It's like playing a game called let's see who saves more, fun! For some reason, I always prefer CVS over their competitor Walgreen. They are indeed CVS aka Consumer Value Stores!

If you miss the call they tell you nothing in a voicemail mail, and you call back, have to leave another message and wait AGAIN by your phone for over an hour to try and connect with them, but don't you dare leave your phone's side, because if you do.... That's definitely when they will be calling you back. It's a vicious cycle. When I finally got in touch with them they said my medication would be ready in the morning. It is a medication I have to take when I wake up, they open at 9:00 AM .... Ok I can make that work. I go in at 9:45am and they tell me to come back in 30 minutes, it's not ready. If I could have called first I would have!!!!!!!! This is so ridiculous. Literally everything medical related is a joke. CVS pharmacy, BE BETTER. PLEASE. It would be really nice to not have to deal with the BS while picking up our prescriptions, when we already have to deal with so much just to get it prescribed in the first place.
