Wow! This place stays busy!
There's a constant stream of people coming and going from this neighborhood convenience store! It's not exactly clean, but the parking is easy, and the prices are quite fair!
They sell wine, all of which is chilled. Even the red wines. Oh well, things warm up quickly here in South Texas.
The clerk behind the counter is extremely nice, saying hi to everyone as they walk in, and chit-chatting the customers, which I appreciated!
They sell a weird selection of food and candy. Things like michalada cups without the beer, chamoy candy, and other weird stuff.
They have a restroom that I wasn't able to access. There didn't seem to be anyone in there, but it was locked anyhow.
They have a wide selection of soft drinks, beer, soda, tea, etc. They also have an impressive selection of incense. They even stock "cannabis" incense. I always thought the point of incense is to cover up the smell of cannabis!
I really appreciate the late hours that this place stays open, and the friendly service.
Just watch out for the cops here. They tend to hide out in the parking lot, looking for speeders and ruffians on the I-10 frontage road. read more
