While traveling home this past Sunday, November 27, 2016 around 9 a.m. I had about an hour and a half of travel left, I stopped to fill up my tank at this Circle K. I had no idea what a hidden blessing this would turn out to be for me. I accidently locked my keys in my car while at the pump- meaning that I also locked my purse and cellphone inside as well. I entered the store already upset and approached the young man and women behind the counter. When I explained what I had done, the young lady immediately got on her phone and called the near by Semmes Police department only to find they don't open locked cars. She then called a lock-smith for me. After being told that it was going to be an hour before the locksmith could get there, I begin to tear up but both of the clerks were so friendly and comforting to me assuring me that all would work out. I went to sit at one of there tables to wait and yes, I was crying and upset with myself- the female clerked checked on me and even offered me the sweetest comforting hug. About ten minutes went by when I noticed a gentleman at the money machine- we made eye contact and he walked off. He appeared a few seconds later and asked" which car is yours and where are the keys?" Before I knew it- he was on a mission to help me get my door unlocked, It was only then that I realized he was the manager there. As he worked on opening my car- two other men and a lady worked with him and of coarse comforted me as their generosity made me tear up even more. After about 15 min. the manager was able to open my door. I hugged him soooooo tightly and offered him some cash- he wouldn't take it- he only asked that I stop in the next time that I am through there. He told me "you are my customer and that's what I am supposed to do for you!" Thank you to all of those individuals that work there for going out of your way to help this Mississippi girl get home, I can never thank you enough! read more
