The gentleman worker/cashier told me to come back in summer when the store was cleaner and floors, drier. It looked clean and pleasant to me considering winter and heavy volume. They just have to put all their wines in the right price slots! Getting gas was a breeze. Easy and many pumps. Off a very busy main road and requires patience at rush hour coming in and leaving the lot.

On checkout, the cashier rudely told me to bag while emptying my grocery cart, which was quite full. She was rude and came across as being racist since I am of East Indian origin. She also suggested that I Van shop elsewhere. She seemed polite to other non Caucasian customers and so this is a clear case of discrimination. I was upset and left the store with a full cart of groceries without purchasing anything . They have a wide selection of ready-to-warm items which came quite handy as after a full day of skiing, there is little energy left to engage in from-scratch cooking. The store is very small, though they did have many of your basic needs, like milk, bread, and some produce. My friend and I did a bit of our grocery shopping together, including milk, juice, bread, cream cheese, hot dogs, bananas, a couple of chocolate bars, and a few other miscellaneous items. The prices were higher than you would expect to pay at your average grocery store, but cheaper than you would normally pay at a convenience store. The man and what we assumed to be his wife that ran the store were very nice and accommodating. Plus, it has a small produce section where you can get some fruits and vegetables (bananas, apples, tomatoes). The owners are of Indian (or at least, Indian Sub-Continent) descent, and they offer a selection of big, homemade samosas. It is a friendly store, where everyone seems to know everyone else. They were having a few specials, $11.99 BOGO for sandwiches and spend $10 or more and get a 60g bag of All Dressed Ruffles chips. So I got 2 roast beef sandwiches and claimed my free chips. I ordered for pickup and it wasn't until I pulled up to the place that I realized I had been there before, when it was Silver City Food Mart, lol. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Pick up was quick and efficient. The sandwiches were good, although a bit salty for my tastes. I would have liked a bit more meat too, lol. It came with grilled onions, mushrooms and cheese. You got to choose the sauce between mayo, pesto mayo and mustard. I got mustard. You can have it toasted or pressed in a panini press. I got the latter. I found the sandwich a bit on the small side. I was satisfied paying the BOGO price, but would have found it expensive for regular price. Even with the in-store price of $9.99 ($2 cheaper than the UberEats price). They have Indian food at the cafe too like butter chicken, Biryani and samosas. I look forward to trying those items. On one occasion, I had ordered the Kongu Chicken Biryani ($20.99 BOGO on UberEats) but they were sold out, so I had to cancel my order. It must be popular, lol. I saw they have Chicken 65 too.
