I will let you in on a secret, during the fall, They have a warm pumpkin filled soft pretzel, with a cream cheese type dipping sauce that is the absolute bomb! It's just one more tradition thar herald's the fall for me. Get one, you won't be sorry, and you might want to go early because they don't last very long. I have found the fuel prices, at least at the Edwardsville location to always rival some of the lowest prices of the area. If I lived any closer, I would probably be in there every day. They get it right.

Making a left from either exit is impossible and from the Frank Scott exit, you have to cut through the BoS parking lot to do it. As far as gas stations go -- it is one of the nicest in the area. Very clean, well stocked and (for those of you who enjoy the stuff) it's attached to a McDonald's.

And it has been a joy to watch. -They are refurbishing the outside last, so don't let the old sign and tattered exterior fool you. Inside, magic is happening! -Where to start? They have an excellent salad bar. Wonderful fresh sushi. An amazing variety of wines. The town's wonderful florist shop is now moved into the building. They have dry cleaning drop off and pickup. A deli with hot food and everything a good deli needs. -Betty Ann Market just meets every qualification for a major modern supermarket, and it is here in our little town! -I try to do all my shopping there because: it is a wonderful store with everything you need at great prices, they are truly GOOD people with smiling small town spirits, and I want to support my local community. -Instead of driving half an hour away (and then back again) we have a major modern supermarket right here, just a few minutes away! (How much is an hour total travel time AND gas worth in this day and age?). From the street/parking lot, it looks a bit sketchy. Go ahead and park, then head inside. You'll find Friendly staff & a decent selection for a small town. The produce was in good condition and hit the spot. Prices were higher than our usual store but it definitely beat going out of town to shop.

I think it's a real shame though that the cashiers are quite rude. 90% of the time, these young men don't speak to you at all, not a word.. won't even look at you. And sometimes are too busy on their phones or talking to each other to do their work. It's really poor customer service. One of the younger guys reeks of alcohol, every time I go up to pay. This week, I came in and there was a very sketchy looking guy outside and he walked in when I did. He had an angry scowl on his face and stared at everyone while he just stuffed his jacket full of snacks, got a soda and walked out. The guy behind the counter looked at him and didn't say a word. It was terribly uncomfortable and this man then stood right outside the business afterwards. I've seen him a few times when I pull up and I refuse to go in now if I see him. From what I've seen, there's more police presence here at this Motomart than any other gas station around- I don't know why this is tolerated and not reported by staff. I hope I'm wrong and it has been. If it hasn't, you're putting people at risk. For such a clean, well stocked convenience store, so much work needs to be done in customer service. There is only one evening cashier, that I know of, that is very friendly and I wish I knew his name to give him a shout out. I just know he has dark hair and wears glasses - always been great.
