A total of 18 pumps are available of which Pump 1 is Full Service but I didn't see an attendant posted there. Onsite is a BMO ATM, ice, hot & cold beverages, firewood, Lotto, snacks, vacuum service, propane tank trade program, some vehicles maintenance fluids like windshield washer, engine oil, etc. and a clean washroom. The lone male staff member wasn't friendly behind the counter. Not a word uttered when I made my lotto purchase request and after I completed the payment. I felt like he hated his job but I'm not a trained psychologist nor a psychiatrist. It was time to get out of Dodge, or at least Markham.

I knew that I was heading to work the next day, followed by hitting the Long Branch area. I felt that filling up my car's gas tank was in order. I pulled up next to an available gas pump. I liked how crisp the screen was. The instructions to insert my PC Optimum card, followed by my credit card were straightforward. I ended up redeeming some points. The entire process was smooth. I am not a regular Esso customer, but dropping by an Esso is growing on me. I ended up paying $54 worth of gas. All was great. This gas station has a car wash. You have the option of going either touch or touchless. The gas station is clean. There are lots of gas pumps. If you do need to hit Circle K and aren't doing any fuelling, there are parking spaces near the car wash. There aren't any close to the store. I ended up pulling off to the side closest to 16th Avenue. It's a decent gas station. It's next door to T&T Supermarket, so you can technically get groceries and eat there, and get gas there and here afterwards. =) (274)

We were only planning on purchasing a basic car wash ($14.99) but the attendant (Sinna) let us know that there's a deal for four premium car washes ($17.99) for $49.99. He scanned the first voucher and printed the code for the car wash and we drove over. We were informed that these vouchers can be used at any Esso station with a car wash and is not limited to this location. There was another attendant that actually inputted the code for us and asked whether we wanted a touch or touchless wash. The car was put in neutral and in we went. Our car came out so clean (except for a bit of the back bumper by the trunk).

It is conveniently located off of Kennedy Road and Unionville Gate. The station has undergone renovations over the years. The current iteration of the Shell Select convenience store sells Freshii products (which was definitely not available when I first started coming here). It's nice to know that one can purchase some healthier food options aside from the typical chips, candy, chocolates, and soft drinks that are normally found at gas stations. This Shell has 4 vacuum stations and a spacious self serve car wash.

Considering I was going to be driving the highway I gave them a quick ring and she goes you picked up the monster brand Energy Drink rather than the #Rockstar Energy Drink. Now I understand it was my error but Common Sense would show she saw him picking up to she could have simply recommended using the promotional items. Now don't get me wrong I spend over $100 on filling up so it's not about nickeling and diming here. What happened to good old-fashioned customer service and promotional advertisements?

I know that the Esso station on Parliament in Cabbagetown does because I've successfully redeemed a coupon there. There's another one, but I can't recall where it was. In Markham, is there such a place? I did some exploring yesterday. I wanted to try a new Esso station that I had never frequented on Woodbine Avenue, across from Costco. I pulled up to an available pump and looked at the screen. I could only pay at the pump. I couldn't redeem my coupon. I left the gas station, not buying a thing. It was weird, empowering, and fun. I took a chance and headed over to this gas station. It's small. I have been to the Circle K in the past to get peanuts. You can maybe pack ten people in this tiny store like sardines if you had to. This gas station also has a car wash. I pulled up to an available gas pump. It was my lucky day. I could either pay at the pump or go inside to pay. I did the latter and started fuelling. I did it handsfree while I cleaned my windshields with the squeegee a few feet away. This gas station is clean and nicely maintained. I headed inside. I was one of two customers. The man behind the counter was cheerful. I redeemed my coupon. I scanned it, but he needed to double-check the coupon and whether I had hit at least 30 L of gas. Everything checked out. I got my discount. Yay! I had my PC Optimum barcode on my phone scanned. I then paid with a credit card. Done! He wished me a great day. I reciprocated and walked out with my receipt.
