They started with a single leased gas station and grew into a major chain of travel centers, opening their first interstate location in 1981. Today, Love's operates more than 600 locations across 42 states They are concentrated mainly in the Central and Southern US (especially Texas, Oklahoma, the Midwest, and Southeast). I have stopped at several of these stations in my travels. They are consistent in being fairly clean and well stocked with pleasant staff. This location followed the same attributes. It was right off the interstate. So it was easy-on/easy-off There were gas pumps under shade and a store with parking in front. For travellers with dogs, they have a fenced-in area for dogs next to the pumps. They share the building with Hardees in case you want to get a fast food meal and they have extra parking to the side. The pumps and store were clean although it was busy. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and the staff was pleasant. Overall, a good place to stop for a bathroom break or to get a snack or gas.

It is a travel stop, so heavy foot traffic and usually fairly busy. As with most other travel stops, they have a variety of goods outside of snacks and drinks to include clothing, personal items, a few electronics, souvenirs, etc... The store is in good condition only showing the basic wear and tear you have at a travel stop. Cleanliness is usually pretty solid, however the bathrooms and parking lot needed attention on my recent stops. Overall, Love's are great spots and I appreciate this location for those trips!

I purchase 50 lbs each month to make dog food. I complained to Walmart and neither corporate nor the store manager had any interest in hearing what I have to say. I now get my chicken at Krogers for a dollar less, and I can count on at least 10 lbs of meat without added water. This may sound petty.....but just think about one lb of chicken from every bag in every store......I wouldn't mind seeing that in my bank account. Walmart must be doing badly to use fraudulent methods to enhance its bottom line. I am a widow with less than 1 k monthly income. I need 10 lb chicken every 5 days because my dog eats 2 lb each day. That is the only reason that I found out about Walmart's discrepancy. People - BE AWARE!!!!

You can also upgrade to Boars Head meat, but I honestly prefer the standard deli meat from Publix. My observation is that most people order regular subs, or the daily special - but an employee showed me the best deal in the house! It sounds confusing, so I'll try to explain :) Subs & Sandwiches: You can order a "whole" or a "half" ... same like Subway. HOWEVER!!! - here's the fun part - you can also order a "whole" or a "half" on regular bread. If you order a WHOLE sandwich on "regular bread" - like wheat, rye, sourdough, or my favorite WHITE MOUNTAIN - they give you TWO WHOLE SANDWICHES that are generously sized :) IN MY OPINION, that's much more fun than any sub. The sandwiches are nicely wrapped and bagged separately. So really, it's like two meals in one!! The sandwiches are always delicious. It's a great, healthy option to all other fast food. Give it a try next time you're at the Tullahoma Publix deli :) I promise, you will love it. Last time I checked I think it was $8.99 for a "whole" - which translates to $8.99 for TWO full sandwiches on regular deli bread. It's delicious and a great deal. Love!

I had been trying to find my EAS AdvantEDGE low carb/high protein drinks and the places that used to have them no longer do... so I was hoping that Publix would. When I moved from Murfreesboro to Shelbyville four years ago, I really missed having a Publix. I've eagerly awaited the opening of this one! From the time one walks in where you're greeted by smiling faces... and handed the latest sales circular... take note Kroger; you who have the worst customer service ever... it was a deluge of happy, smiling employees who were greeting me just like at ALL the Publix stores I've been in. One would ask "Is it because it's a new store?" My answer to that is a resounding "NO!" I've always had a pleasant experience at Publix. Never a grumpy employee to be found, and they will bend over backwards to assist you in whatever it is you need. Looking for my EAS product... horrors!... they didn't have it either. As I was headed to the deli to get a bit of something to eat on the way home... by the way, their subs were rated THE BEST by something or another... sorry I can't remember by whom... I was greeted by a customer service rep who asked how my shopping experience was going. I told her I was a bit perturbed that they didn't have my protein drinks. She, Carla, said we could attempt to rectify that problem if I had a minute or two. Awesomeness! Of course I do! She grabbed a form to fill out with the specifics of what I needed, and it would be turned into the manager and whoever did the ordering. I got a copy and they'd call me if they were able to get it and it arrived. SWEET!!! Again... TAKE THAT, KROGER!!! Headed to the deli area... woooooooo... so sad to be on low carb/keto for once. Must've gained weight from the smells and visuals alone! Got some unbreaded fried chicken wings that were mega delicious! Didn't mess up my meal plan at all. Prices are great. The checkout people are darlings... the baggers as well. I had to laugh. I had my purse, a tiny bag of chicken wings, and a drink... and was asked if I would like assistance to my car.
