Circle K on Cactus and Dean Martin in Las Vegas is the worst in town. They call themselves charging tax on non-taxable items, and then play the language barrier card. I called them out on this issue before, and asked for a manager only for them to suddenly not speak English when I raised my complaint. It's been a few months since it happened before so I gave them another chance... the same energy drink I get every day from every other store, including other Circle K stores, suddenly is $6.98 when it should be $6 even - no tax! Dude was like we charge tax here. Of course, but not on this particular item. When I brought up the state sales tax and how it applies to foods he couldn't speak English all of a sudden again. I went inside the store to ask for my gas receipt because the gas pump was out of receipt paper. The guy at the register was insanely nice and very patient. He could not figure out how to print my gas receipt maybe train your employees to print a gas receipt and yes, I need my gas receipt to get reimbursed. After 10 minutes the employee that stated he was new figured it out all on his own. Do better to train your employees for any situation. or just keep your gas pumps full with receipt paper. I am on the clock and cannot afford to lose time. read more

What they did have was the usual Ketchup, mustard, sugar, bread, And oddly, a keto based broth. Employees here have no customer service skills! I paid cash handed the money to the employee as I was trying to enter my rewards number he rang it in so I told him that I was still putting in my rewards number and the employee said oh I can't do anything about it the pump started, I said no it's not I'm not pumping gas yet! So I told him cancel the transaction and re-do it so I can enter my number and still he said he can't! So he grabs another employee and starts to talk in their language which is very rude and unprofessional in front of guest. Don't go there! I am writing about an incident that happened a few months ago. I was on my way to my friend's house. She was not feeling well and was throwing up. I thought I'd stop at this Circle K to pick up some Gatorade and Pedialyte since it's on the way to my friend's house. I walked in and headed towards the fridge where the electrolyte beverages are. The Gatorades are on the top shelf and hard for me to reach. This young good looking guy had his back towards me, talking to an older guy at the cash register, and he was leaning against the fridge. I asked him if he worked there (coz I needed his help to get the Gatorade for me.) He turned around and said "what?" and gave me a look like he didn't understand what I was saying. I noticed that he was wearing a shirt that looked like he worked there. I repeated myself, "do you work here?" He looked at the other guy that was at the register. The older guy asked me, what do you need? "I asked him if he works here coz I need help." They looked at each other. A third guy asked me, "can I help you?" I said, "yes, I need help reaching that Gatorade on the top shelf." And I told him that I was asking the young guy if he worked there but he seemed like he did not understand my question. It's not like I don't speak clear English. The third guy got the Gatorade, rung me up, and he started talking to them in their language. How rude is that? I was just going to let it go, but I live on Cactus and everytime I drive by their station, I feel resentful, thus, I felt the need to write this review. I won't go back there. read more

Before I pumped gas I selected car wash. Pumped gas and receipt did not indicate car wash code and i didn't get discounted gas price! I went in to the register and the clerk said car wash was working and I would have to pay regular price for car wash and no discount for gas . Said it had to be done together. I see different reviews on here for the car wash. But my frustration with this location are the prices on the merchandise inside the store. All of the prices that are not what they actually charge you! I went in to buy a pack of cigarettes and they charged me 50 cents extra for each one. Which is 50 cents more than what the price is listed on their shelves. When I pointed it out all they did was take money from the register and handed it to me as if that was their way of "fixing" the problem. Another time I went in to buy a pack of cigarettes but decided I wanted to get some beef jerky. The sign posted was $6.39 but when they charged me it was closer to $10! I immediately took a picture of the price before bringing it to their attention. They made a big fuss about it, walking back-and-forth behind the counter and running into the office and coming out as if they didn't know what to do. They again proceeded to just pull cash out of the register and handed it to me. I've worked in retail for a very long time and one thing for sure is, you never just take cash out of the register and hand it to a customer to solve a problem. This makes me believe that this is a regular practice and they are knowingly overcharging customers. I know I couldn't wait for this place to open because it's a more convenient place to stop before driving onto the freeway. And the customer service across the street is terrible. But I'd rather deal with the horrible service than to be overcharged for something! read more

Do not use the car wash. I went after a lovely rain storm we had 2 week ago and once again soap was left all over my car. The employees inside told me they are no longer towel drying as the manager decided it's not worth it. So I paid $20 for a car wash and now my car has soap residue all over. I highly do not recommend this circle k. Go across the street to the chevron and get a full service car wash for $20 instead. At least they do a better job. Apparently there are two Circle K markets on Cactus, one on Dean Martin and one on Jones. I enjoyed the carwash on Dean Martin from the opening week and was excited when I found out that the one on Jones was opening and they apparently have the same owners. Started to notice that about half of the vacuums weren't working and those that did were really down on power! Started using the one on Jones cause it is closer to home even though it has no vacuums! Half the time it would not do the tires. Stopped at the other one and the brushes were not working at all! Just managed to smear the dirt all over the car. Told them inside and was told. "They might fix it this week". Went back to Jones and again it didn't do the tires! Went in and told the clerk and was told I would have to call corporate to complain! What! I asked her if there was anything she could do and she said, "Sure, I can cancel your account." Yes please and I have not been back. Lost a good customer due to lack of customer service, care and just plain rudeness! Don't go there, either location. Wish there was a zero star. read more

On April 20, I stopped by the car wash and a HUGE piece of heavy duty plastic from the rail when you exit the car wash broke off and lodged into my running board! I've left SEVERAL messages and have stopped by the store several time and have not received a call back from the Store Owner / Manager! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Why won't you call me? Beyond upset. I have the sip & save and got my usual English toffee cappuccino from the dispenser. I took a sip when I got home and immediately noticed the taste of cleanser! I recall seeing a woman cleaning while I was there. Either she was spraying cleaner or wiping down the machines and nozzles with cleaner. Watch your totals! I thought my total looks slightly off. After I paid the kid at the register said thank you with out offering a reciept like normal. I asked if I could have my reciept cuz I knew something wasn't right and he kinda made a face like "oh shit" and gave it to me. I noticed a hot coffee on the reciept I didn't buy so I went back and told him and he first tried to act like he didn't know what I was saying. I repeated that I didn't buy a coffee and he tried to tell me i wasn't actually charged for it. I point out that I was as it was on my receipt and it doesn't show it was taken off. He then tried to tell me it's on there because someone had bought coffee before me and didn't get a reciept... which makes no sense as it would have been a separate completed sale and not just added on to the next reciept. I told him no it's on the list on MY receipt and I was charged for it, and he finally said okay I'll give you back the money.. I know it was not by accident because his face alone when I asked for my reciept told me he did something and the fact that he tried to say it was because the last person didn't ask for a reciept is probably the dumbest excuse. Stop here to fill up with gas today. The pump asked me if I wanted a car wash I hit yes and selected which one I wanted. On the marquee gas is a lot cheaper if you get a car wash. after selecting car wash the pump said begin filling so I filled up my truck. Grab my receipt when I was done. After looking at my receipt I realized it did not register my car wash. So I walked in asked the clerk why the car wash did not register and why I paid full price for gas and did not get a discount. He said I needed to pay for it inside I said there's nothing stating pay inside for a car wash. Make a long story short he called me a liar told me I never hit car wash on the pump and that if I wanted a car wash I was gonna have to pay full price for it. Convenient location and the workers are usually pretty friendly. However, the cleanliness is highly suspect. The drink dispensers are always sticky from soda fountain syrup and there was syrup/soda splashed on a bunch of cups below the soda fountain. But today was the worst. I decided to get a couple donuts and noticed a bunch of fruit flies trapped in the donut case. There were even fruit flies stuck to some of the donuts. So gross! read more
