I tried to purchase some items but she was mouthing off to me because I didn't want to use the humanless cash out. She continued to talk to me in Spanish and kept mouthing off. Most people don't complain because truckers are tired and this seems to be a common issue with customer service towards truck drivers. We work 14 hrs a day on an 8 day work week to encounter assholes like this. Amazing to me how this stupid people can keep their employment. This type of thing does not happen overnight this is behavior that has been allowed and empowering employees to treat customers in a bad manner. There were small red particles inside of my ice cubes. I pulled two Ice cubes out showed to two different cashiers. I asked to speak to a manager and no one came out. You can clearly see the red particles in side the ice cubes. They said they'll notify the maintenance to clean the machine. They didn't offer another drink nor a refund. Also I went to desk to purchase a pack of cigarettes, I stood there for 5 minutes no one came to help me. I went and sat back down. I waited went back 20 minutes later, I'm standing in front of the counter waiting to be helped a Mexican man walks right up and she said next. I said excuse me I want a pack of cigarettes. Stopped into stripes so hubby could wash the car and I could use the ladies room. The ladies room…read morewas gross. If I didn't have to go, I would have held it and gone somewhere else. I chose to clean my hands with my own hand sanitizer afterwards. My husband had purchased a car wash at the pump. We pull up and see that the machine is not cleaning the driver side rear of the car... so we don't have a choice we are in line and it's taken our money. My husband said he would ask for a refund if it didn't clean the back. It's one thing for an automated machine to mix a part of the car but half? That's crazy... my husband thought that the person that was in front of us maybe had pulled into the machine over to one side too much and perhaps this caused the problem.. but alas, no. We still had the same problem as the first car. We pull up to the gas station to show someone and ask for a refund or something because one half of the back isn't washed. They tell us they can't give a refund. They the. Proceed to send us back in the car wash to apparently see if there is an issue. They then see it. We can see the cars behind us pointing to the back of our car and complaining they also don't want the same result on their own automobiles. He proceeded to tel my husband he can't get a refund because he paid at the pump and it gave him a discount... no idea. I didn't realize that it did. Maybe it did. Don't know. We got the general managers number and will call when we return home from our trip as we do not live in this part of Texas. I felt anyone in the area needed to know so I created this listing on yelp so I could post our experience. Don't think we will be back to stripes.
