We are loyal customers of Sheetz not only getting gas, but food as well. We usually receive…read moreexceptional service. This was not the case this past Saturday. There was an advertisement on the pumps that stated when signing up for the rewards card, you could get 25 cents off gas the first 30 days. I downloaded the app, however, it was glitchy as I was downloading likely due to cell service in the area. After pulling up next to the pump, I went inside to ask the cashier to please scan the new card on my phone. When I asked her to scan, she immediately responded that I could do it at the pump in a snappy tone. I apologized to her and explained that I had some difficulty downloading and wanted to make sure it went through. She did not respond further so I handed her a 50 dollar bill and I went back out to the pump. I then realized that the discount did not appear on the pump. My husband and I went back inside and asked to speak with the manager to see if she could help with getting the discount. The manager did not know about the discount being offered and told us to call the corporate office responding rudely as well. I totally understand how dealing with the public can be frustrating, however, this is unacceptable especially since I was simply asking for assistance. My husband then returned inside and requested the full refund for gas since we were treated so rudely and we went elsewhere. We will not return to this location and perhaps further training is needed here.

I utilize the Exxon mobile app to authorize the pump and pay. I had $20 in rewards that I had earned. I chose to use $7 to offset some of the gas that I had to pay. Authorizing the pump was simple and smooth. No issues!

Bathrooms were spotless as any Sheetz restrooms I've ever been in. I went to the food order touch screens and ordered a grilled chicken wrap. No one seemed to be ahead of me and my food took a little longer than I had expected. It was about 7 or 8 minutes before my order was ready. In the grand scheme of things this isn't a long time to wait but in comparison to any other sheetz it was a little longer than normal. The wrap was pretty good, seemed like normal Sheetz quality food ingredients in which I really didn't have any complaints. My only issue was it seemed like the wrap was made very quickly and the wrap was torn in one spot. I didn't realize this and of course began eating it from the opposite end so by the time I was halfway through it was completely falling apart. If I'm in the area I'll stop by again, no major issues and the food was still enjoyable.
