The multiple bays are single load, not double, so you don't have to dodge and swerve pulling around other cars. I also liked that the space between the pumps and the convenience store/clerk is covered in case of rain. They also have items stacked outside that are sometimes useful like rock salt, windshield wash, and ice. I appreciated that the pumps were easy to use and maintained so that I was able to pull up, fill up, and be on my way without having to run inside to complain like at the other station. Review #3642

I'm starting to think that Indiana hides all the good burritos in unassuming places. Maybe I should start looking for burritos the next time I'm at the shoe store or the dentist. In any case, Ricker's has good burritos. One of the best parts about ordering a burrito at Ricker's is that you don't have to talk to anyone to order. There is an electronic screen that you use to punch in your order. Then you pick it up at the counter. You can customize your burrito to your liking. If you want a good burrito, I suggest ordering the following: refried beans, Mexican rice, cheese. That's it. If you want some meat in there, add carnitas. Don't go and ruin a perfectly fine burrito by adding sour cream and lettuce. If you're going to do that you might as well just order something else. This is how strongly I feel about this particular combination of burrito ingredients. Another reason to like Ricker's is because they sell cold beer. This means you could get your burrito to go, grab a six pack of cold Coronas, and have a nice little Mexican feast at home.

The entrance is kind of funky, you have to approach from behind the store on an access road. The are park of the Appaloosa Crossing development. I am deeply disappointed by the way my Latina mother was treated at this Kroger location. Instead, she was met with dismissive, disrespectful, and unnecessarily hostile treatment. The way she was spoken to and the refusal to help her left our family with the unmistakable impression that she was being treated differently because of her ethnicity. No customer should ever leave a store feeling humiliated or singled out. What should have been a simple exchange became an upsetting and degrading experience. Customer service should be built on respect, fairness, and professionalism, regardless of a person's background or the language they speak. Kroger should take this incident seriously by reviewing what occurred, providing additional training to its employees, and ensuring that every customer is treated with dignity and respect. My family will think twice before shopping here again unless meaningful steps are taken to address this kind of behavior.

I placed a grocery order online for grocery pick-up, but somehow got my wires crossed and scheduled it for the wrong day. While I was out running errands, I received a call from the Kroger Pick-Up Team and after listening to my dilemma, helped me make arrangements to pick it up the next morning. Unfortunately, the next morning presented a new set of issues. I checked in via the app, but no one ever came out with my order. I called customer service and was informed that all customers scheduled for pick-up that morning had been issued a text stating that they were running behind and would be notified once the orders were ready (this info was relayed from the manager). Being that my order was technically scheduled for the day before, this shouldn't have affected me, but I suppose that their team was focused on preparing that morning's orders and nobody was checking the handset for pick-up notification. While this was frustrating, I didn't panic. I advised the customer service rep that I had to leave (after waiting nearly 20 minutes). I asked that they hold my order until that evening. If they'd put my order back, the sale items purchased would no longer be available at their discounted sale pricing. I left that request in her capable hands and went on with my day. That evening, I arrived back at the store. I couldn't check in through the app (because I had already done so that morning), but a car next to me was having their order loaded into their trunk. I waited to get Dylan's attention. I gave him a brief disclaimer about why I couldn't check in, and how my order was scheduled for yesterday... he politely interjected "Are you Kandice?" I was both surprised and relieved. They had managed to clearly communicate and coordinate the holding and successful delivery of my past due order...and I felt seen! And valued! I've cut entire corporations out of my life for less. So, I'm thrilled that they worked through the challenges and obstacles and overcame adversity. Good job, Kroger!

Walgreens is also a convenient place to grab a quick gift or greeting card for those last-minute gifts and they have a nice variety of food and snacks. The employees are generally pleasant and helpful, and there is a wide variety of all kinds of items you'd expect to find at a convenience store. However, I will never buy gas here again. My daughter filled up her tank here and the gas had water in it, which warranted a trip to the mechanic for a fix. We heard reports of other people in our neighborhood who experienced the same situation. Also we have bought drinks and food that were well past the expiration date (a 2 liter was over a year old), so be sure to check expiration dates if you buy provisions at this location.
