I know that we would all like to see gas less expensive, but it is what it is and this place is no more or less expensive than any other gas station in the area. It is a smaller gas station since some of the more modern ones, but when I pulled in there was only one other car oh, so there was no line or anything I had to worry about. The gas station was relatively clean and I had no issue getting in or out of the property.

Instead of answering politely, the person acted like he didn't understand me and kept repeating things in a dismissive way. When i decided not to buy the ticket, he got upset and and started preassuring me to pay in cash. I told him I only want it the the gas and drink, and thats when he grabbed then drink and tol me "GO GO GO"in a very rude manner. The way he treated me felt completely unprofessional and, honestly, racially motivated. I stayed calm, but the way he kept acting like he didn't understand me and the tone he used made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. They always have several different kinds of coffee brewed at all hours of the day. They also have a cappuccino machine that stocks many different flavors of coffee like french vanilla, mocha, Oreo, nutter butter, caramel macchiato, and their latest coconut mango. The staff are usually pleasant although I have seen employees come and go every now and then. Overall, this is a decent location for coffee, snacks, fast food, drinks, etc

My wife and I used to stop here a lot for sandwiches and coffee but pricing has increased and it's just not really worth it anymore unless you're in a pinch plus there is nowhere to sit down to enjoy your meal and I don't like eating in my car. If I'm going to grab and go there are better options. We used to like the coffee but it's just never as fresh as it should be and half the time, they are out of the one I prefer. They cannot compete with Race Track or Circle K on fresh coffee. I honestly wont even buy a coffee at a gas station unless I can get it fresh ground and brewed. Some of these places are still serving coffee from breakfast at dinner time, WTH? Staff are usually friendly and the store is kept clean. They have a decent restroom available and I appreciate that they have a bunch of gas pump stations along with Ethanol Free and Diesel. The intersection here in the morning with all the contractors and School Busses coming and going makes it a PITA when trying to get to work; however, it's not too bad getting in an out of the lot during non-peak times of the day. All-in-all, it's a great convenience store. Yes, there are some things they can do better but Wawa still blows away the 7-11 and Shell in that cluster of an intersection.

Kevin's corner store has become a local favorite in the Sanford area. There are two buildings here;…read moreKevin's main convenience store, which supplies all of your normal convenience store needs minus gas. Adjacent to the convenience store is Kevin's Liquor store. My wife and I frequent both locations weekly. The store is within walking distance of our home so it is a quick easy spot to grab a snack, drink or cigar for that fun night out on the town. I would say that Kevin's prices are fair market value when compared to other convenience stores in the area. There have been occasions where I have been able to get a bottle of Jim Beam or Makers Mark at a better price than ABC or Walgreens. On a side note, if you love Bud Light Platinum this may be the only place you can find it in a 12 pack or more. I am not sure why 12 packs of Platinum are so rare but if you need it Kevin's almost always has it. The parking lot can be quite active so be prepared to navigate around other people who cannot park, drive in general or just don't know how-to walk-in public. This is part of the reason we like to walk here but I guess that's how it is when your business is located at the intersection of French Ave. and 20th street in Sanford. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. The guy who is usually working in the liquor store is awesome at helping you find what you need at the best price. I feel is a great way to keep customers coming back. If you are visiting Sanford for a fun day/night out, stop in to Kevin's before heading downtown. There is something for everyone here, you might just save some Moolah and enhance your overall experience visiting Sanford.
