The ambiance of the store was absolutely disgusting the woman who called herself a manager in the black shirt dirty and dusty. Water all over the floor matrix mud tracks everywhere. A Morgan and Morgan case waiting to happen. So now I start with the service was terrible from the manager not the employees which were also embarrassed and she was completely disrespectful to them and front of a store of customers. I requested to buy the BC powder arthritis pain meds she said I could not buy the entire box I can only get two mind you she had already dismissed me when I went up to her register told me she could not do Lotto I had to go get in the other line so I proceeded to go back to the line that I was already in because I knew that's what I needed to do but I watched her do the next guy in line his Lotto right after she told me to go to the other side so as I'm dealing with her employee on the other side she is all up in my business if she wanted to take care of me she shouldn't have dismissed me initially to begin with I feel like she most definitely discriminated against me then she told me I could only get two pain medicines I told her it's not cold medicine I want to buy them all so as I'm getting ready to cash out my lottery tickets and my BC powder she took all the BC powder and told her employee make her just pay for the lotto so I proceeded to tell her you know what keep the lotto keep the BC powders I will not be paying for any of it in your store, so now she not only lost the sale of the box that I was going to buy for my grandma she also lost the sale of the $100 worth a lot of I was going to get which I wouldn't give her a dime or pee on her if she was on fire wouldn't do it she was rude to her employees she embarrassed me she dismissed me she just missed her own employees she was disrespectful to them how she's in a leader position I do not have an explanation to why? She also demanded that her employee call 911 so I proceeded to sit in my car with my partner and wait for the police 20 minutes later they never showed up she just stood there staring at us through the window we just sat in the car I then went back inside and told her I needed to take a picture of the BC powders that did not have a sign on them that said I could only buy two because I'm very politely just asked her to show me the sign that said I could only buy two she could not she said she doesn't have sound to me took them all back and that's where we're at now. I'm in town visiting I have never been to a 7-Eleven so terrible in my life I feel sorry for their employees and it explains I don't even know why they have two and a half stars for the rating!?!?

Came in to buy a fountain soda and left with proprietor threatening to call the police :(…read more I have visited this store a handful of times, and while it's a basic, small, working class gas station, I've appreciated the level of cleanliness and have even complimented the staff about that. This visit I entered to find the proprietor (who I do not believe is the owner/operator, but perhaps a younger relative or perhaps just a regular worker) in a heated argument with the older gentlemen who runs the attached Krispy Krunchy Chicken location, an argument which continued despite my presence in the store. In any case, I filled my soda at the fountain, ordered my chicken (chicken stand reviewed separately, 5 stars), and went to pay at the register. The register setup is atypical due to COVID mitigations, with a plexiglass panel attached to the customer-side end of the counter forcing customers to reach under the panel to manipulate merchandise or payments, like at a bank. Of course everyone has to determine what COVID adjustments are necessary for their own comfort, but I'll note the panel is surprising given 1) the second register, also in use, has no protective panel; 2) the proprietor wasn't wearing a mask; and 3) there is no signage requesting customers wear masks and no other customer in the store had a mask on. In any case while reaching under the panel to grab my cup my finger penetrated the thin Styrofoam causing the soda to begin leaking out. I immediately apologized, grabbed the cup and threw it away to mitigate the spill as much as possible, and tried to gather napkins or paper towels to help clean it up (unfortunately neither item is available to customers). I said something to the effect of "I'm sorry, I can't find any paper towels to help clean up," and the proprietor began to scold me for being in "too much of a hurry" and "running around his store." I was taken aback by this and protested that while I was again sorry for the spill, I had certainly not been running in the store. The proprietor redoubled his claims and insisted he could show me the 'running' on his security feed behind the counter. I told him to by all means run back the tape and show it to me, at which point he walked to the second register (sans protective panel) and said "next customer." I waited for that customer to finish with their purchase and then asked if the proprietor was saying he no longer wanted my business. He accused me of 'spoiling' cigarettes he had for sale under the counter (unclear if true), and when I told him I was again sorry for the spill but that I didn't control how he set up his counter or stored his merchandise he ordered me from his store. While walking to my car, the Krispy Krunchy Chicken worker said he was sorry for what I had experienced. I told him, truthfully, that I had visited before and had good/neutral experiences, and that perhaps the proprietor was having a bad day. The older gentlemen's response was telling: "he's always having a bad day." At that point, perhaps upset at our conversation, the proprietor burst out the front doors and shouted at me that if I didn't leave immediately he was calling the police. I told him he could call whoever he wanted (I was causing no disruption of any kind outside and was already planning to not return) and thankfully left without further incident. In the end I made a clumsy error to spill my soda (contributed to by the questionable counter setup, but still ultimately my fault). I would have been happy to pay for the spilled cup, and would have accepted a request to be more careful in the future without complaint. But the increasingly aggressive and even unhinged behavior of the proprietor make this a "do not patronize" location for me going forward.

Sometimes location location location can be the determining factor when measuring success, the BP /…read moreCircle K at the corner of Route 44 and Grand Ave. which is just a stones throw from the roundabout seems to validate that theory. I've passed this convenience store a number of times before having a real reason to stop in, a low fuel light provided the opportunity. There are limited fueling options in Deland just after 5:00 AM and this location seems to be the locals choice when it comes to an early morning cup of coffee stop or a place to top off the tank if you're headed towards Eustis or returning to Deland. Access is pretty good and there's plenty of options to access the pumps from several directions and the property appears to be well maintained, the fuel prices are somewhat competitive and the pumps delivery the fuel at a flow rate that will get you in and out fast .......unless of course you're expecting to grab the receipt at the pump and get on you're way to your next destination. So I'm going to say this place is disappointing - whether it's an act of laziness on the clerks or owner's part or a tactic to force the customer inside hoping to increase their point of sale revenue, regardless I hate it and it pisses me off, unless I'm pushing my out of fuel dead vehicle to the pump here I won't be returning...

This place is A-Ok. It's a gas station with a convenience store. There are plenty of pumps (I have never had to wait) and the selection of snacks and soft drinks are plentiful. The staff gives you reciprocal respect and the bathrooms are *relatively* clean.
