They offer one to me every single time I buy something and they always have over the past 15 years. A bit extreme to take away stars over a receipt. Stuff breaks sometimes. This Exxon has a wide selection of almost everything you would expect from a convenient store. Remember it's called convenient store because it's convenient (Close to your home, Don't have to deal with check out lines at grocery store.......) You pay the price for the convenience. I see a lot of complaints that their prices are too high and then say go to 7-11. This Exxon is not a corporate owned gas station. Of course 7-11 is cheaper because they operate thousands of locations and have an upper hand negotiating prices. And 7-11 has their own private label (products). Exxon, compared to where I live, is way more convenient than walking or driving 1.5 miles to 7-11. Support a local small business.

As a native Dallisite ,7-11 was a fixture in my life for decades. When they introduced fresh gourmet coffee 24/7 in the 1980s ,I was a customer 365 mornings a year. Instead of making coffee at home before hitting the road, I made my first stop the 7-11 coffee bar. Unfortunately, they have declined to a point of being a 2nd tier player in the convenience store space. The only time I stop is in desperation. When there is nothing else around. However, I have noticed that their new stores are in a redesign phase and trying to reinvent themselves. It is in a great location and provides the area with a much-needed stop for some competitively priced gasoline. On the inside, one will find everything they would expect to find at a 7-Eleven including the Big Gulp. On my visits, the staff has always been friendly. Unlike other locations in the area, this one tends to have fewer people hanging around outside. That said, it might change since the 'stay-in-place' orders have been lifted.
