There is a blond female who is always on the phone while dealing with customers (i've been here multiple times, seems unprofessional). Otherwise i would make this my main shop, the prices are great!

The owner is very friendly and he will order or try his best to get you that special ingredient for your favorite cocktail or spirit if he doesn't have it in the store. I rated it like this because he is a bit pricey on some of popular spirits and you are better off going to one of the larger chains but if it's convenience you're looking for then I do recommend you shop with Simply Liquor.

The store is very clean, well stocked, and seems much larger from the inside. Randy will take special orders, and will make every attempt to stock them within a reasonable time. Prices are very competitive with larger liquor stores, and I'm happy to support a local business. They offer military discounts. 4/25/23: Been here several times, and customer service is great as usual. I spoke with Randy about getting some additional rum brands, and he said that he'd work on it. I truly enjoy visiting this liquor store. It's very conveniently located. 9/19/24: Stopped by to browse and a young man in a Saints jersey informed me that the store is under new ownership. It shows. The young man wasn't very friendly and seem more engaged with his phone than with the customers. The store looks cluttered, and there were stacks of boxes on the wall, behind the register area, which was not a very appealing look. The prices seemed higher than before, and if a small business intends to operate successfully, it needs to have good customer service and competitive prices. There are several other independent liquor stores on 78 nearby, and Specs is not that far away. The new owners instituted a rewards program and members get 10% off on Tuesdays. I didn't feel welcome, so I didn't ask if they still offered a military discount.

I kept seeing cars pull on the right side of the building, which I am thinking is the drive-thru. A very convenient option for a Mother with kids, someone with pets in the car, or someone that may be injured or elderly. The lady working behind the counter was very nice, and a gentleman on my side of the counter (I'm assuming the owner) was friendly and sparked a conversation with me immediately. Refreshing, considering they won't even say hello at most 7 Elevens or Quik Trips. I won't even mention Race Trac. It may not be the newest or prettiest store, but I'll personally take great customer service over new floors any day.

However I noticed there was signs for local dairy, farm eggs, coffee, bread, etc! I stopped in and loved the local goods. There is also an ice cream cabinet with pints from Its Fate Creamery, for sale no more than they charge and the ice cream shop.
