The prices aren't great, but they're also not terrible, although also not well marked so I was sort of rolling the dice but it worked out okay. The selection is very basic, but if you need a convenience store item, this will serve well. The staff is friendly and I find it reassuring to have a place like this around, well lit and safe and open pretty late on the main street. It has sodas and candy and snacks and some alcoholic beverages if one wants to byo. It's catty-corner from the park. They take cards over $5, which seems fair. They're open about as late as you'd expect in most cities.

I just bought a home in Midtown and completely forgot to pack my medication. Every single person at that pharmacy was amazingly helpful and the pharmacist herself delivered my medication. I will never go anywhere else in Mobile but to this Walgreens pharmacy. What a load of crap. My husband and I tested positive for Covid this morning. Sadly, my husband told his care provider to call in the prescription for Paxlovid to Walgreens. Since this Walgreens is a 1/4 mile from our house, and we feel like shit, I asked my provider to send my RX to this dump too. They have had this RX since 10AM!! After calling numerous times, and never being able to speak to a human, we gave up. But the recorded message we listened to at 4pm informed us that my husband's meds were out of stock, and there was an insurance problem causing a delay in filling mine. Another load of Walgreens crap. I called my doc, and explained the sloppy management of our prescriptions. She agreed, and called it into the Publix pharmacy on Florida St. In stock and no insurance issues, ready in 45 minutes. This medication is supposed to be started asap. The Walgreens at 1320 Government St does NOT care about your health. It is plain nasty. I wouldn't fill my dog's meds there. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. You will be treated with respect, get your meds in a timely fashion and won't be lied to.

Store needs to have at least two cashiers at all time and someone constantly replacing the missing items, this is a 24 hour store. Parking lot looks much cleaner, not so much trash, which attracts the ruthless seagulls. Not so many homeless people hanging out in the parking lot pan handling.

Disappointing Experience…read more I recently had the displeasure of visiting Circle K Dauphin St Mobile AL and was thoroughly unimpressed with the entire experience. From the moment I pulled into the station, it was clear that this place was not up to par. Firstly, the appearance of the station was lackluster at best. The pumps were dirty and in disrepair, and the surrounding area was littered with trash. It was not the kind of environment I want to be in while pumping gas. Upon entering the store to retrieve a recite, I was greeted by an unpleasant odor and a disorganized, unkempt interior. The staff seemed disinterested and unfriendly, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. There were wet spots on the floor throughout the store where I did not see a wet floor sign but yet a dirty mop bucket at the front of the store with very dark and disgusting water. I stood in the store at the register several minutes before the cashier even acknowledged me. I asked for a recite due to me swiping with a corporate card. To my surprise the response from this cashier was very displeasing. Her tone and hand gestures clearly said that she was tired and did not want to be bothered by paying customers. I could not get a recite ultimately due to the registers being closed at 11pm tonight and there was no paper at the pump. Overall, my experience at Circle K was subpar in every way. The choice of filling a position vs the importance of customer service has really hit an all time low. Circle K you really have failed your customers this was the ideal store that was clean well kept and had superb customer service. I would not recommend this gas station to anyone and will certainly not be returning. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reputable, clean and customer-friendly establishment for your fuel needs.
