On Thursday Sept 2 I went into Circle K at about 7:30 a.m. I decided to buy my Lotto tickets and a donut. I asked the cashier, an early 20s young lady if the donuts were fresh to which she said "I think so". I said, I dont think this one is, she replied, well, maybe not then. I said ok and placed it on rhe counter. She rang up the item as full price rather than the day old price. (I live locally so am familiar with the stores practice regarding day old pastry). I asked the cashier if that was the best she could do regarding the price. She took the donut off the counter, looked me straight in the eye and THREW the item into the trash can! I said to her. "So you would rather thow the donut away instead of selling it?" She simply stood there staring at me! I responded nothing to her and left the store. I have been a regular customer of this business for over 9 yrs and have ALWAYS had a happy friendly relationship with everyone connected. Sad that such a bitter person has been hired, so sad. I hope the owner reviews their camera footage for verification of this incident. read more

Although this location is very clean and attractive, everything is WAY OVERPRICED! I suppose since they're the ONLY convenience store for miles around, they don't get much business. I guess someone has to pay the rent. read more

A recent motorcycle ride had me going farther and farther east and the farther east we went, the hotter it got. We stopped for a pee and refreshment break at Circle K (it must be a popular spot because there were quite a few other riders stopped too). As an update to the only other currently posted review (from four years ago), there *are* bathrooms now. Well, one bathroom. And it had an out of order sign on it (with the curious suggestion to go to the Dollar Store to use their bathroom instead). We found out that it actually was usable, but it had been finicky and the sign was supposed to be a reminder to staff to have it serviced. Ok, whatever. Now, here's the cool part (literally). The back of the store has a walk-in beer cooler. I wasn't really checking out the selection so much since I was riding. But let me tell you - if you're all geared up and out riding on a hot (and getting hotter) day and you happen to be in Campo, go ahead and stop at the Circle K's walk-in beer cooler. It was a lifesaver. If I hadn't been starting to get anxious to be home and done with the ride, I could've stayed in there all day! read more

Really!!! It's cold and rainy we are trying to pump gas and the pump doesn't seem to work... So I go inside and ask the attendant informed me it doesn't work... I encouraged her to put a sign on it so others know, she said "she couldn't"... I hope management sees this!!! read more

Great rest stop and very CLEAN! Their beer cave is awesome lots of selections. There is a little bit of everything in there nachos, snacks, drinks, and a nice coffee bar. Super friendly owners read more

This is one of the cleanest gas stations iv been in. They have a great coffee and tea station, and a huge beer cave! I stopped here on a road trip and the staff was super friendly and it seemed safe. Also there are bathrooms inside idk why the other reviewer said there wasn't any. I think they changed owners recently. Anyway great station go rest stop read more

Good selection for the area. Large liquor selection. Great "beer cave." However items are overpriced. Large mark up. The friendly clerk is gone, and now owner and older woman are behind the counter and are often rude and not helpful. Gas is 10 cents more than across the street. read more

Went to this Circle K today, it had to be the biggest and cleanest Circle K around San Diego. The other review stated that they only had Port-a-Potties, but that is not the case. IT IS THE ONLY GAS STATION THAT HAS A RESTROOM IN THE ENTIRE AREA!!! There is also a Subway sandwich shop in the same shopping center. Great place to stop while out on a Sunday drive. read more

This is one of the nicest Circle K's I have been in. They are now building a Subway in the same shopping center. Fuel prices are OK, but the satff was friendly and the entire store was stocked nicely. As far as restrooms go, they are under construction and should be back open for the public in June, so says the workers. read more
