The best part of the visit was Jessica, the lady behind the counter. She always had a smile, is happy to help. The breakfast is…read morepretty consistent, the service is adequate but could be more friendly and it is often hard to get a clean table. Unfortunately this is kind of what the world has come to today. Hiring any help has become increasingly difficult, the ones who will work want to make a lot of money and not do much. You can usually get a biscuit and hash browns pretty quickly but if you order anything out of the norm it will take a bit. The afternoon staff is made up primarily of high school people with minimal leadership. There is almost never anyone there for dinner but it still takes a while to get your food. Tables are still usually dirty even with the staff just standing around.

For this reason my reviews will remain the same from location to location with small exceeption. My wife and I had just landed in Jacksonville, got our car then headed out. I definately needed some breakfast and this was the perfct place to stop. Great job by the McDonalds team keeping their restaurants fresh, bright, very clean, and a fun place to be. I like the new electronic ordering system (Kiosk) which was a nice addition. Even when ordering, a team member asked the customers if they needed any assistance, and walked them through the process. I use the McDonalds app which always seems to give me a hard time. Honestly, I am not a fan of the app and always seem to have a problem.. Thank you to the AMAZING team member Brooke who worked iwth me to get my issues resolved. She is clearly a shining star here. Like most locations, they had a big parking lot with an easy entrance in and out to the Main Street. All the food was fresh, hot and tasty. Clearly, McDonalds has developed a good, winning formula. Apparently management doesn't care and/or they aren't paying enough to hire and retain staff. Why are there always people sleeping at tables in the dining room??? The food is ok, but the orders are sometimes wrong, the tables aren't cleaned, and the staff is so swamped there's nobody at the counter. This is a classic franchise management failure if there ever was one. Taco Bell is NOT CHEAP. How is it that they charge 80 cents to add a couple extra broken pieces of crunch strips or a half teaspoon of chopped onion bits, but if I order something without these things, the price is still the same??? You can go to a decent sit down restaurant for what it costs to go here. Almost $3 for fountain soda and they can't hire more staff or stop in to do something about people sleeping at the tables.
