This place only opens at 6am and closes around 11pm. Its not one of those gas stations that stays open all night. Their self serve pumps are all turned off. The store ALWAYS have the friendliest people working there. The pizza and taquitos are always hot along with the fresh coffee. But today (8/24/2025) was different. I was met with one employee (the cashier with long black hair and a visible mole or piercing) who had me standing there without saying a word for about a minute. At first, I thought she was busy doing something, but when I asked, "Are you ready?" she just stared at me without responding (not even a nod). When I finally told her what I wanted, she repeatedly asked me the same questions as if she wasn't listening. It was clear she was having a hard time containing whatever emotion she may have been experiencing, whether from outside of work or due to work, but unfortunately, it spilled over into her customer service. I would encourage management to either provide her with retraining or have a conversation with her about professionalism. Everyone else here has always been courteous, so it's unfortunate that one bad interaction can overshadow an otherwise great experience.

Lol Since my last visit a few years ago the store looks a bit remodeled and I like the look of it. It's a big store I grab a cart which has seen better days and get started. My opinion on this location and Grocery Store. It's a well stocked store. Produce Aisles Stocked with produce fruit and vegetables top quality produce clean ripe and in my opinion some of the best produce and vegetables rivaling Whole Foods, Costco and Trader Joe's quality. I bought peaches and apples ripe and delicious. Meat Awesome quality of meat, chicken, steaks beef and more. I found reasonably priced organic chicken legs and thighs I bought three packs. I'm soo pleased I'll continue to shop here for chicken. Aisle for aisle I found soo many food items I buy on a regular basis that are considerably less than the markets I shop. Mexican food products are in big quantity at this store I found and purchased bomb habanero salsa and spanish rice and I'll be back for more. Jamaican food products are here and I'm excited. I cook Jamaican Food and will definitely buy from food 4 less. They have soo many items I'm interested in I had to stop myself and only spent $50 this time but I will be back in a week and buy my monthly food staples and household goods. Not all gas stations offer the alternative gas & is extremely difficult to find so, The cool thing is that she downloaded an app that finds gas stations that offer ethanol gas. The cool thing that the app can search by cities; we selected Long Beach The app brought us to this Shell gas station way off the 405 freeway on Del Amo Blvd/Cherry St. This Shell gas station is very clean and well maintained and it has a small convenience store that sold a lucky Cal Lotto ticket that won 1 million dollars. Is a definitely a good-safe spot to get some gas & continue on our journey home.

It is located in an ideal spot to get gas and get back on the freeway. It is fairly average. What is unique is the Mini Mart which ALWAYS has specials! Twice I got energy drinks at a whopping $1.50 each. That is cheaper than the grocery store and any coffee. These deals have me liking this place as a stop to get gas. Yup, I sure do love getting gas. Being able to get a quick pick me up while the gas is pumping.
