Tried El Pollo Loco in Albuquerque and honestly had a really good experience! I ordered one of…read moretheir chicken bowls loaded with grilled chicken, corn, pico, guac, and all the toppings, plus extra sauces and salsa on the side. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and the chicken was juicy with that signature fire-grilled flavor they're known for. Their citrus-marinated fire-grilled chicken is definitely what makes the place stand out. The sauces were a great addition and made it easy to customize every bite. I also grabbed a lemonade, and it made for the perfect quick lunch. The portions were solid, the food came out fast, and everything looked just as good as it tasted. Definitely a great option when you want fast food that still feels fresh and filling!

It's opening week. I came for a take out for 1 at 5pm on Sunday 11/16. Nearly no parking and the…read moredrive up had traffic into the street. The place is small with few seats. Plenty of people standing waitng for their orders. I have never had food from this franchise - and I don't do fast food often. But, I had read an article ranking chicken franchises across the US and EPL came in above Church's and Kentucky Fried. So I wanted to try it. I perused the menu ahead of time and glad I did. They have self-serve kiosks but they are fairly easy ot see and navigate. This is what I had / prices / and my comments. 1. chicken tortilla soup $5.99 for a nice sized bowl. I was disappointed there were no fried tortilla strips or avocado toppings. But it was hearty and good. I would get it again. 2. chicken avocado taco. $3.49 on a flour tortilla - normal sized. I wish I could have swapped the flour for corn but did not see an option to do that. It was very delicious and had a bit of a spicy kick. I would get it again. 3. chicken taco al carbon. $2.99 on 2 street sized corn tortillas that were NOT CRUNCHY as described in the description. And why? Barely no contents. I felt cheated and I hate feeling cheated. I will NOT order that again. I still want to try their chicken alone so I will go again. The crew was hopping and the crew manager seemed to be in control. I was impressed at the overall caliber of the crew and their synchronized method of filling orders. Their grand opening is Nov 25th I believe. I'll steer clear until December when things die down a bit. Overall, for my $$ I think I prefer Chipolte. You get a lot for your money - but again, they are not a chicken place pe se.

I asked her if the curly fries were hot and she said she would make fresh ones for me. I ordered beef and cheddar meal with a vanilla milkshake. I ordered the roast beef Gyro, which was lacking a bit and we should've opted for lamb. I had asked if the peach cobbler rolls were any good and the assistant manager said she had not had them yet. I teasingly said well then you should have cut one open and we should both sample them. Once my order is ready she handed it to me and said hey I threw in one of those peach cobbler rolls for you to try.. all the food was hot and fresh. The only thing I would change next time would be the roast beef Gyro.. I know a different note. I will say that the half pound beef and cheddar is just a touch too much meat for the sandwich.

Ah, but it's been probably 30 years since I've been to an Arby's - my wife finds it vile but I had a hankering for a Beef & Cheddar, and figured the way to make it go away was to just have one. Turns out they have a half-pound variety now so - you betcha I got that. Along with some potato cake things that were also new to the menu since my last visit three decades ago. They have a serve-yourself soda fountain with a decent variety of drinks. Well . . . it's a Beef & Cheddar, all right. To be honest, the half-pound variety was just too big for the bun - the meat and the double measure of cheese and sauce just sorta glopped off when I picked it up. And, probably my tastes have changed: the Horsey Sauce didn't seem piquant and the barbecue sauce just tasted sweet. The thinly sliced meat didn't taste of anything other than salt and the "cheese" glop was, well, not what I remembered. The store was great and the service was great. Prices were fine. The food was okay and it scratched the antojo I was having for the taste. Probably won't rush back, though: I blame that on my tastes having changed - I suspect Arby's products are as unchanging as the Sandias.

It was like it was a staged set on tv with extras and yes a manager delivering condiments from table to table. I ordered a #1 with onion rings & a chocolate shake. I then got the fish sandwich, (limited time only for lent) W/ french fries, and a vanilla shake. I also edited a kids cheeseburger and an apple pie. The #1 Whataburger was good and tasty and the onion rings spectacular as always. I was curious about the fish and overall it was tasty with nice crunch. I will say however that it could have used a bit more tartar sauce to make it a great sandwich. The fries were pretty good but a little bit on the sorter side, (I like my fries more crispy or at least close). I tried the kids cheeseburger and it was cold and dry.

I've had regular burgers in ABQ that weren't this good. I've never beeen a fan of Impossible meat but I couldn't tell at all in this delicious, good sized burger. The Wild Style fries are Similiary to Animal Fries and just as good. And I was only going to drink a little of the milk shake but drank the whole thing. Good value, especially for a vegan meal. I will definitely order from here again.

Let me start out by saying I've been aware of the lucky Goose for quite some time but had not…read morethought of it when I'm going out... not until today. Though I'm not vegan I was very excited at the prospect of having a good meal that is vegan. Unfortunately, we had disappointing experience. Food: so-so... I had the triple patty, lucky burger, my partner had the double lucky double burger minus one patty. We shared the lucky fries. The total was just under $30. My partner eats light, but he did not realize how thin a single burger actually was. He said if he went back, he would definitely have the double patty next time because that's still not equal to one patty in most places. The triple lucky that I had was just messy. I ate it with knife and fork on the paper that covered the tray on which it was served. Between the messiness, the soft bun (not toasted) and having to use a knife & fork to eat it off a piece of paper covering the tray on which all the food was served was not a great eating experience. Finally, the french fries the lucky fries, was just the regular basket of fries with their lucky toppings. The amount of toppings was so light as to be ridiculous given the amount of the up charge. Service: Zero charm, Zero finesse! I, in principle, DO NOT ever leave a gratuity with my order on these iPads where the order is taken totaled and paid for. Simply put, tipping before service makes no sense to me. There were two females working the counter and serving the food. The only pleasant moment in all of it was when the female who took our order also served the table. She put the tray down and was very sweet in her presentation, which was brief. We both could not help thinking it might have been because we had the cash gratuity sitting out on the table. I have no way of knowing if that was it or not, but given the quality of interaction with these two females up to that point... I did address this with them both before we left. I feel like I was gentle, but also to the point. When a female apparently became so upset that she had remove herself and the second female hung in with a lot of bravado, making an absolutely insincere apology... Ending it with "I don't know what else to say". My response to that was "something with a little sincerity would be helpful". Ambience: the lounge area was very inviting, but unfortunately, when we entered into it, the gentleman behind the bar informed us that it was closing for the day. The dining area was more than sufficient comfortable no complaints. Apparently, we've missed the hey-day of the Lucky Goose because based on this experience, I would guess that it is on its way out.
