I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a plate of char-grilled hot wings. The sandwich was the highlight for me. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with a nice char on the outside that gave it great flavor without being dry. The bun was fresh and held everything together without falling apart halfway through (which I always appreciate). It felt like a well-balanced, thoughtfully made sandwich rather than something rushed. The char-grilled hot wings were flavorful with a smoky finish from the grill. They had a good kick -- not overwhelmingly spicy, but enough heat to keep things interesting. A couple of them were slightly on the smaller side, but the taste definitely made up for it. The atmosphere was relaxed and lively without being too loud. Service was friendly and attentive, though we did wait a bit longer than expected for our food during a busy stretch. Nothing dramatic, just noticeable. Overall, it's a place I'd happily return to -- good food, good vibe, and consistent quality. A strong 4 stars from me.

We definitely wanted to visit here since we thought it was a new brewery (more on that later). This place is actually in the backyard of a local High School. Kind of odd to be honest. There is a small patio on the side of the building. The front of the building was open beings it was a nice day outside. We decided to do a flight to try the beers. Out of all that we tried and sampled, my friend was a fan of the Cherry Limeade and Anchored Down was my favorite beer. After speaking with who we assumed is the owner, we learned this place has been open a few years. I even told the guy that we have came down here for the 3rd year in a row to Florida and never has this place popped up on the map or a whisper of this place was mentioned. He gave us a background on the place and the beers themselves. I also heard from another source that one of the brewers is from our Hometown of Louisville KY. We enjoyed our visit here quite a bit however it was quite a distance from where we were staying. I wish we had time to visit one more time but, maybe next time. It is definitely worth visiting.

Most important--Odd Pelican brews excellent beer! Perfect venue for small gatherings. Come on a food truck day or enjoy handcrafted cigars. I recommend the Anchor Down Pilsner and Black Creek Stout. Thanks Tristan!

There is just the right amount of light coming through the windows balancing with low indoor lighting. There is also a concrete patio option out front, if you want to enjoy some Florida breeze while you done/drink. The food was challenging to choose from because it all sounded good and looked delish as we saw it get ordered around us. My chicken had fantastic flavor and texture - some Cajun seasoning mixed with a bit of char to give the slight crisp on the edges while locking in all of tender juices as you cut into it. The sides were tasty, too. I really enjoyed my beer, and Heather checked in on us. She was knowledgeable about the menu and breweries, was always upbeat and personable, and was able to give her own recommendations. We will definitely come back and grab some appetizers, leaving room for dessert. Bonus - if you or a member of your party want to eat but not partake in alcohol, they also have mocktail options (though some of their cocktails look pretty tempting).

The Beer: I have tried probably close to a dozen beers. They are always changing them out and they let you have flights of up to 8 beers. Their hazy's have always been solid. The food: Their pretzel may be the best one I have ever had. It's soft, doughy and comes with a tasty beer cheese. I want to eat it again right now. The last time I went I got a simple chicken strips and fries. Except it was not simple it was delicious. The strips were more chicken breasts that were barely seasoned barely breaded and simply delicious. I forgot I had a dipping sauce. The fries were perfect little crisp pillows of heaven. Get them with truffles for a slight upcharge. The atmosphere: Very cool. The outdoor patio in the back is perfect for those spring and fall days. The inside is decorated with various history fun facts and items. The brewery itself is in an old section of town that is being revitalized.
