My wife and I had an exceptional experience working with Kevin and Mark Staudenmayer of Leader TV…read more We had purchased a home that required upgrades to A/V components, a reestablishment of the home audio system, installation of wifi and verification that all A/V systems in the home were operable. A unique thing about Leader TV's service in this area, is that Kevin and Mark are very knowledgeable about both vintage and modern technology representing all the well-known brands. If you have older, high-end equipment that you want to incorporate into a new installation, Leader TV will be a key resource. Kevin and Mark were a joy to work with. They tailored their proposal to meet our A/V budget and provided alternative component selections so we could balance price and performance. Ken and Mark had worked on other homes in the same Pittsford area, so they understood how wires in the home audio systems were routed, how to locate the optimal location for the modem and routers, and were able to complete the project with an absolutely clean installation without visible wires or poorly installed componentry. We are 100% pleased with Kevin's and Mark's work. It was easy to get on their schedule, they delivered the project completely according to the proposal--no surprises, no upcharges. I would not hesitate to work with Leader TV again and I would highly recommend them to others.

Back in the day, there were a good number of high end audio dealers that were knowledgeable and…read morecommitted to customer service. Now there are maybe a couple left as the interest in audiophile equipment is fading. I unqualifiedly recommend working with Lance at Forefront Audio. He is more knowledgeable and helpful than the competition. Don't be fooled by the small storefront. He handles a large array of equipment and will help you find the best solution to your audio needs. Its also worth noting that his familiarity with vintage audiophile systems (like mine) is second none.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Mac-Ave. From the moment I called and spoke with Jacquie about the issue to walking into the store, she is very pleasant, knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions. My experience was very positive, friendly and I enjoyed the fact this is a family business. Worked with different members there and they were all very pleasant, remembered my name, treated me like a person and not a number. When I wanted to upgrade my 9 yr old ipad, after researching different places & pricing I decided to take my business to Mac-Ave. They were competitively priced (even better than two other stores), offered services I wouldn't receive from online purchases or box stores. It was an easy choice and I will definitely be giving them my business in the future. Thanks to everyone who made my experience there a pleasant one!

Not only did they (It's really just he) not fix the issue that I had contacted him about, he "fixed" other things that were not discussed, and not needed. In what world do you charge someone a diagnostic fee, not provide an estimate, then get approval before doing over $400 worth of work that was not requested and did not resolve the issue? He provided false information related to a part (said an AMD processor with integrated graphics did not have the graphics) and when I called him on it, he told me how to fix the issue myself (install a separate graphics card).
