The car wash is a nice value . Very clean all the way around. The equipment works consistently. ( at least I have not any issues)But this car wash is a lot like other big car washes . The people who direct you in and are supposed to do your Pre wash ..... They don't do a very good job. I don't know if they are too lazy. Or that something they are told not to do any more. Small family owed car washes seem to have better costumer service in those areas. But overall this is a very nice car wash . I do recommend Apple car wash over the near by competition. read more

Our car sat under trees for months. It was covered in sap and dirt. They did an amazing job cleaning it up and we are grateful!

The car wash left black marks up and down the sides of my car. The manager was nice enough to clean them off. I cancelled the unlimited plan. I'm not happy I could not get a refund. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS CAR WASH I would not recommend. I've been here twice & both times there were new scratches on my car.

I took my car thru drive thru and I have had my car 2 weeks. This is the first car I bought on my own and am so proud. So after going they drive thru it scratched the whole driver side of my car. I was heart broken. I called and emailed the company and someone claiming to be kelly the GM said she sympathize with me but they would be doing nothing to help fix my car she repeated that statement over and over that there was nothing she would do to help me no matter who I called it all had to go through her and she was not going to approve anything I'm sorry but you're sympathy does nothing for the damages on my vehicle it doesn't fix them it doesn't make them look better it does not make them go away and it does not give me the money to fix it either. This happened in York and I just am at a loss. How can companies get away with this? Please if you have had a similar experience, please contact me. Something must be done! All I wanted was my car fixed now, I'm not sure what to do next but maybe if enough of us have been through this we can get something done together. Spent $16 for the "ultimate" wash. Came out of the wash still dirty. Talked to someone in the office and he came out to look at my car... I pointed out all the dirt and dust still on the car and he stated " No car wash gets all dirt" What?? The whole purpose of a damn car wash is to get the dirt off!! We are not even talking about a dirt crusted 4x4 ..... My car is a white Lexus... Never, ever giving these guys another dime. read more

I have used an Apple carwash subscription for several months earlier this year. I love the ease of having a clean car without stepping outside of it, further doing so while on my way to work. Each experience has cleaned my car well, I appreciate the free vacuum service as well for when I have the extra time, nevertheless I recently ran into a problem. In June I decided to spend my money on some other priorities; I discontinued my membership at the Red Lion location. Two months later, I found that they had still charged my card each month for washes I was not using. Taking action, I called in and had them cancel the membership and refund the amount. Here at the start of my fall college semester, I watch my bank statement carefully for budget purposes, only to find my membership was still active. I understand mistakes happen, but this was the third time I had to cancel my membership. I spoke on the phone to a team member by the name of Rory. He was not only helpful and kind, but he offered a refund and an arrangement of free washes when his manager was next in. I called in, later on, to speak with Kelly and although she refunded my money, she rushed the conversation and was rude on the phone. Things have been "reconciled" but I dislike the service from whoever had never canceled my membership and the poor attitude of Kelly. read more

I'll warn you to keep your head on a swivel here. I was almost carjacked at this location a few weeks ago. It's a four-person crew. Two men and two women driving two separate cars. One very large bald black guy around 6'2", 240lbs with tats and another leaner black guy had a beard and a baseball cap about 6'. One black woman (she rides with the bearded black guy, about 5'7" around 145 lbs) and another Hispanic woman with tats everywhere (she rides with the bald black dude) . The operate in tandem. Once crew distracts you while the other waits for the opportunity to steal your car. DO NOT leave your keys in the ignition. The large black guy offered to clean my rims. Seemed odd because he was driving a nice, late model, black GMC SUV. He didn't need any money. He wore a gold chain, a wife beater with a gold tooth. You could tell he'd hit the gym a lot. The other car was a sand colored 4-door Buick or Oldsmobile. The other couple had finished cleaning their car and was just sitting there in their car watching. I immediately knew something was wrong. I went to my trunk, pulled my strap and declined his offer. Thereafter, all activity stopped. No more conversations. I later called the police in York and I got a effing answering machine. They never called me back. I'll bet that's typical. To avoid you having the same issue at this location, I'm providing this report. They'd done this before guys. This practice was rehearsed. Guess they didn't count on a Sig Sauer being a part of wash day. I'm not knocking the service here. It was good and that's why I gave it two stars. But having to pull your gun to protect yourself and your personal property from thieves...well that doesn't bode well for future service calls. Watch your back out there. read more

Not impressed with the effectiveness of the wash. Clamps are cumbersome and difficult to steer into correctly. The material used on the spinning cleaners will scratch the protective coating on a new car. Does not remove dead bugs and leaves water spots. Save your $$ and wash it yourself. You'll be happier. read more

Going to the car wash has always been a favorite for me, and the apple car wash is one of the best. For only $10 I think they do one of the best jobs...my wheel runs always get the dirt out, paint is clean and shiny, and all the bug guts/bird crap is removed from the car. Yes it can be a long wait sometimes but they have long hours try going at an off peak time. read more

Between inconsistent service and having my car damaged, I can't recommend this business. When paying for an ultimate wash, there were occasions where the employees did not clean bug guts and other dirt from the car unless you asked them to do so. Other services listed as part of the ultimate wash were also not consistently delivered. I've had my car damaged on two occasions while visiting this car wash. On the first occasion, it took several calls to the general manager (who would not return them) and multiple visits to get my car fixed. On the second occasion, I brought a brand new car (purchased with only six miles on the odometer) to the wash, paid for an ultimate wash, and the employees scuffed up the interior trim in the back of the car during cleaning. One assistant manager attributed it to wear and tear despite me stating that nobody having ridden in the back of the vehicle since I purchased it, then backtracked and said they checked their employees every day before every shift to ensure nobody has sharp items on them. This assistant manager and another have since recommended contacting the general manager, who has been off work or on vacation regardless of when I call and despite leaving messages has not returned any calls for the past three months that I have tried. If you value your vehicle, take it elsewhere. read more

My 2015 Ford Escape and I were first time customers at Apple Express Car Wash on Marbrook Lane in York this morning. I opted for the $32 Ultimate Package which includes towel drying and cleaning the interior, windows, vacuum, etc. I am happy to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The exterior car wash was average in length and cleanliness. I expected the interior service to be similar to Walmart and other places where they vacuum but never lift the rugs. The service team spent over 30 minutes on my car. They pulled all of the rugs out, scrubbed the plastic mat in the back, washed every one of the windows, the dashboard and even the mirrors. I swear my Escape looks and smells brand new. Kelly, the customer service representative and all of the staff I came into contact with were friendly, pleasant and courteous. Since leaving their facility I have told just about every person I have come in contact with about them and even showed a few people my car. I HIGHLY recommend this great company and their services. I know I will be a returning customer for life. read more

Just returned from the car wash........so it's called. Had to clean break dust off the wheels, rocker panels are still dirty. Tried 2 vacuums, neither one had any suction. Could have done better at the self serve car wash; and probably would have come out better, and saved money. 10$ may not mean anything to Apple; but I expect to get what I pay for. Had a very dusty weekend in my Jeep, so I decided to purchase the upgrade (interior service) rather than spend hours detailing the interior of my Jeep. I was very pleasantly surprized at the quality of service that was provided me. My Jeep hasn't looked this clean since the day I purchased it new. Wipe down by humans at end of tunnel would be great. Majority of Employees are working very hard. The ultimate wash is Ok,just check your vehicle for missed spots. Drove out yesterday after ultimate wash and some inside work was not completed.Tip the young people when a good job is done. It is appreciated. read more
