First thing the next morning, I called every makeup artist listed nearby on Maps, but I was supposed to be at a photoshoot by noon, so no one was able to help on such short notice. Just when I'd given up, Kimberly called back and saved the day! Her home studio, which is only 15 min from the Embassy Suites I was staying in, was beautiful and clean. Her work space is in front of a large window, so the makeup is done in full natural lighting. She matched my skin perfectly with foundation she'd prepared based on a photo I'd sent just 15 min before. I thought the most impressive part of the natural makeup she gave me was the skin! It looked like my bare skin if it were flawless and glowing! She kept me engaged during the process, asking me for input as she worked to be sure it was to my taste and making comfortable small talk. She is not only a talented artist but also a lovely person to talk to, which I always look for in any stylist to aviod stress and akwardness. I am so grateful to her for doing my makeup on such unreasonably short notice! She had another appointment at 11:00 and I was able to make it to her by 10:15 by driving over as soon as she agreed to do my makeup! She finished right on time, and even though she moved very quickly, everything looked beautiful and she still asked if I was happy/wanted anything added or changed as she worked. Kim even curled my hair after I arrived with it in a mess, even though we were short on time and she'd only agreed to do makeup over the phone! She was probably in a rush, but she made the experiece relaxing and pleasant, which is super impressive because I am fairly high strung and was already stressed when I arrived from my hectic morning. I left at 11:00 on the dot, looking and feeling beautiful. Even though the makeup was very light and natural looking, it stayed put all day. The photos came out wonderfully as well! She walked me through each step and made sure I understood what was happening and that I agreed with the shape and color before she began during initial procedure. Before I got my brows done, my eyebrow hairs we're very light in color, sparse and barely existent. Immediately after the procedure, I could tell my brow hairs we're darker, more defined, perfectly shaped, but still look natural! The next day, everyone at work complimented me on my eyebrows and assumed I had just filled them in differently. They we're so shocked when they found out I had gotten them tattooed. I love that I have no longer have to fill in my eyebrows during my usual makeup routine, it helps me save a ton of time!
