IT CAME TO A TOTAL STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 405 and my uncle had to improvise in order to avoid getting in an accident. To top things off the lift was not working properly and got stuck. Contacted the company and they gave us instructions to EMPTY the oil and let it run. All over the driveway of our new home! After that, the lift got stuck two more times. We ended up paying double to our movers because of extra lifting. It is now parked on the street and we are fearful to drive it back to the office for the return. I am writing this review to shed light on this company's negligence as well as their lack of customer service. They should have sent someone right away to remedy the issue or at least swapped out the vehicle. Totally illegal, unsafe and a hazard to the person renting as well as all others on the road. She said that it is NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to contact their customers that had been double billed. Isn't double billing a form fraudulent? I wonder how many U-Haul customers were double billed and how much interest they have accrued on the monies received through their "Glitch".
