The seats are nice (the only good thing), the sound balancing for the ads are terrible as it will suddenly be too loud often. Don't purchase any 'refillable' limited edition popcorn buckets because they won't give you any free or discounted refills. Be prepared to pay full price for your 'refill'. Cineport continues to disappoint. Just go to Telshor 12. They are more friendly and don't have issues with the sound and will actually give you your refill of popcorn. read more

July in Las Cruces is HELL. The theatre tonight was so warm I sweated thru the movie! Apart from that, the area where the napkins/butter/ketchup are--SO DIRTY! Bathrooms had no TP--multiple stalls--and no hand soap. Allen Theatres--do better or charge less. Like Video 4 less. read more

This theater was great! I had read bad reviews before entering but my look on things is it try something once before judging, and I was pleasantly surprised! The tickets were priced very well so I had no hesitation going. The Atmosphere of the theater is also very pleasant and enjoyable! Now, I didn't try any of the food or popcorn but I did get a medium drink of Coca-Cola. The drink was absolutely delicious, and I didn't taste any issues with it. Also the pricing on food and drinks is also very good when compared to other theaters! Next we enter the theater. Now getting to the theater is simple. It is not maze like to get to your theater, it's literally choosing if you turn right or left down a hall. Then when I entered the theater, it had the perfect amount of lighting, with comfortable AC to top it off. Now, I originally was sitting by the railing but since the rail was a bit high and the seats are a little low it makes that spot awkward (for my height at least). So the friend I was with and I just moved back a few rows to find the perfect spot. Personally, our perfect spot was in the very back. Now as I mentioned the seats are a bit low. However it is not low enough to ruin the experience whatsoever. It did not hinder the view, nor did it make me sit uncomfortably. So all in all, the height of the seats was just fine. Even the theater audio was great (at first I thought it was silent but apparently that was just the film, because when the action finally started it got to the perfect level of audio and stayed that way). Finally, the complaint that makes this review 4 stars. The issue is actually the seats again. Despite the height not being an issue and the seats being comfortable, these seats do have a issue. The seat cushions are not completely stable (specifically the butt cushions). Do they feel loose or wobbly? Absolutely not. But the cushion you sit on is not firmly in place so if you sit to far back, you sink in slightly. However I also didn't even notice the issue once the movie began, so it's not a terrible issue. Plus I have heard they will be replacing or repairing their seats to improve the experience, so once that happens I will change my review to 5 stars. All in all, is this a bad theater? Absolutely not! The theaters are comfortable and have good AC, comfortable (but not perfect) seats, good sound, good drinks, and a good theater experience all together! I will definitely be returning to Allen Theaters again in the future! read more

I hate and I mean hate giving bad reviews. But this theater is hands down the worse ever. Other than their customer service which is surprisingly good, everything else is just horrible. Seats our just uncomfortable and they all squeak so loudly that it kinda ruins the movie. Seats & seating lobby's are just so out dated. The theater was so hot we almost left the movie because of it. It was at least 90 degrees in the theater, add COVID & face mask to the mix? We left covered in sweat, just absolutely uncomfortable. Food? Holy mother of God!!! My hotdog was so old I just threw it away after my first bite. The bun was rock hard it felt like a breading on a Combo snack you buy at a gas station. Popcorn tasted day or 2 old and all of our drinks tasted horrible, they DO NOT collaborate their soda machines here and it's obvious. I haven't been to this theater in over 10 years & I'll never return even after the update their chairs in a few months. It's was and still is a huge disappointment. read more

I'm leaving a review because the chicken tenders used to be really good (fresh, real chicken breast, pleasant surprise for a movie theatre) but they changed them up. Doesn't seem like this theater has that great of ratings, but I'm a happy camper....it's absolutely dead in here and I love no crowds! I'm an out of towner and don't have anything to compare this theater to around here though. The seats are comfy and it's fairly clean too. $9 bucks to see a movie ain't that bad either. read more

A few nights ago my boyfriend and I saw the last showing of Godzilla Minus One at around 9:00 pm on Wednesday the 17th. The staff in the front was attentive and very nice. However about fifteen minutes before our movie was supposed to end, all of the lights suddenly cut out. It was just my boyfriend and I as well as another couple and we saw no theater staff on the floor and the front doors were locked already. It took several minutes to thankfully catch the last employee leaving who said to my boyfriend, "Oh that's weird, don't know how that happened." We were able to finish the movie thankfully however it seemed that the employee wanted to rush us out which fair you know you're trying to close but also this could've definitely been avoided if he checked the theater more thoroughly! I do not want this young lad to lose his job, just to be careful next time because we were contemplating calling the non emergency number. Overall needs improvement. I hesitated posting this because I think the overall theater is great, just perhaps there needs to be better checks for liability reasons. read more

Cineport 10 is about 30 minutes from my home in El Paso, TX. And yes, there are a couple of theaters that are a hop, jump, and skip away, but driving all the way to Cineport 10 was totally worth it for one reason and one reason alone: adjustable armrests! I can't compare this theater to the others that are in LC since I've never been, but comparing it to the closest EP movie theaters, Remcon Cinemark and the Bistro Cinemark in El Paso, it leans closer to a Remcon competitor... but it has adjustable armrests. My better half and I decided to watch Creed, thinking that since it was weeks past opening day, it would be relatively empty. Well, yes and no. Obviously it was showing in a smaller theater so it was at least half-full by the start of the movie, but it really wasn't that many people. There was a gaggle of pre-teens in the theater sans adults that yelled and ran around the ENTIRE movie, but I just endured the annoyance when I considered how long it would take for me to locate the proper person to "talk" to these kids and then the fact that I'd have to go locate that same person again after they continued to be disruptive and by that time I'd have already missed at least a quarter of the movie. I was feeling lazy, not feeling the commitment to see this through and the fact that everyone else in the theater was feeling the same way as me kind of gave me the feeling like this may be the norm here... unfortunately. Annoying gaggle of tweens aside, it was a good theater for a movie. The screen somehow seemed different to me than anything I'm used to, but I can't really put my finger on why. The chairs were nice, plushy, reclined, and had adjustable armrests (this is important to me, I like to hold hands in the movie theater, I'm sorry). The prices for the tickets and food seemed pretty normal and they do have a little "cafe" on the upper level of the theater. I'm sure we'll find ourselves at this theater again. The staff that I did interact with were all nice. Lines moved quickly. And prices were alright. Good option for a movie night. read more

This theater has started assigned seats but the floor plan used to choose your seat is not accurate or at least hard to decipher. My husband (who is used to reading plans for 32 years) and I thought we were choosing a back row when we were actually one row back from the "orchestra". Cineport 10 is one of the best theaters in the El Paso - Las Cruces area. I've been to most of the theaters in the area at some point in time and I'd rate them all at a one star. Overall, this location is clean and the staff is friendly. Movie prices are comparable to other locations but on Wednesdays, they give a BOGO free ticket to Military. Most of the theaters in El Paso don't give such a great discount, usually taking just a dollar or two off and discriminate against Veterans. Cineport does not do this so a big plus for that. Arm rest in all chairs can be moved up, which is a nice feature that is missing from far too many theaters. The restaurant on the second floor has a nice selection of food that you can bring with you into the theater. What's puzzling is that they don't have snack food there and only of small cups for drinks. To get nachos, hot dogs, pop corn, and large drinks, you have to make a second stop at concession stand. One of the highlights of the restaurant is the pizza. Second only to Uno's, their pizza is way better than Dominos, Pizza Hut, or any other chain store in the area. I've also had their burger which was better than I though it would be. You would think that a theater's restaurant wouldn't be very good (most aren't) but this one seems to buck the trend. Food prices are high. It's a theater so you'll pay theater pricing. Two stars off for no refills on drinks. Some other theaters will give you a refill if you buy the largest drink. Not this one. $4.50 for a soda and $20 for food (plus the cost of a ticket); it's not asking too much for at least one refill on my drink. Otherwise, check out this place if you haven't yet. It really is the best place to watch a movie in town. read more

This is my favorite movie theater, well its the closest! :) i like that its attached to the mall so i don't even check movies times i just go buy my tickets on the touch screen and kill time in the mall while my movie of choice begins, i like that they have the little lounge like restaurant upstairs, you can buy food and eat it while you watch a movies, they have weekend specials like spend $25 and get two tickets free, they have a decent menu but I'v only tried the pizza! it dose not compare to Chicago pizza but it was not bad. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because when it comes to movie theaters there is always room for improvement. read more

Sound didn't work on opening weekend for the Dr Strange movie. Completely unacceptable for a movie of this scale on opening weekend.

Sitting in the theater waiting for the movie to start, it's 15 minutes past the start time, and they're still showing the local commercials. Wish if they would set a show time they would actually start on time. The previews take an extra 15 minutes as it is, please learn to watch the clock and start when you're supposed to. read more

Bought tickets online to avoid long lines only to find out that the scanner kiosk is failing. It uses an outdated Windows 98 server that cannot keep up with the times. Now myself and more than a dozen other people who also bought tickets online had to go to the back of the 100 people + line just to get our tickets verified. What a waste... Only one person selling tickets makes the wait even longer. Have been in line for 15 minutes now have about 8 minutes more to go. Totally unacceptable! read more

This theater has fallen from grace like brick falling from the sky. The place is filthy, everything I saw in regards to the concession stands was run down and/or broken completely. The projector in our theater wasn't squared so the right side has skinny and higher than the left side. The chips in my daughter's nachos were stale and I'm not talking about day old stale, but have been sitting there multiple days stale. They charge $.25 for an ounce of nachos. I live in El Paso and every theater I have been to has free jalapeños. The prices are ridiculous and the food sucks. I grew up in cruces and it hurts to see that the owners have just quit caring about customer service and are more focused about pushing their religion on people than running a movie theater. can you believe this? i needed some water to take my medications before a movie with my wife. when i went to the snackbar i was told that the manager insisted on charging 50 cents for a small dixie cup of water. i went to the mall and the first fast food place i went to offered me a large cup FOR FREE. we have vowed to never buy anything again from an allen cinema snack bar!! read more

I had the worst movie goer experience ever at this movie theater tonight! The girl serving popcorn at the counter rolled her eyes at us when we asked her to layer the butter in the popcorn bag, versus us topping it ourselves. She clearly put no butter in it, and it sucked. While in the theater, there were four teenage kids going in and out of the theater while the movie was going on, and eventually they left, which tells me that they didn't buy tickets to that show. There was a 3 year old kid going up and down the row of seats and stairs. This theater clearly has no quality control and attracts some of the worst in Las Cruces, so I am never going back there. read more

The rating options are not low enough for the viewing and contact available at Cineport 10.It is difficult to talk to a person about your lack of concern about customer comfort. When you reach anybody they are very rude & will not provide the phone no. of concerned management. If more customers are a goal, normal seating should be provided which do not force viewers' heads forward into a position that will cause them to PASS OUT. It is ridiculous to provide fad seating only that cause a large percentage of viewers to have to walk out on your shows after a few minutes and provide NO TRADITIONAL SEATING where the movie paid for can actually be viewed. Your web site should list a contact number for personal discussion where your lack of concern does not have to be publicly aired. read more
