    Fancy reclining seats
    Cara R.

I know I already reviewed this theater years ago, but it has disappeared, so here we go again. Great theater,it's nicely decorated, and has never been crowded when I have gone. They have the nice electric recliner seats, and it's always appeared clean. If there's a rainy day on your vacation, take a break from the heat and catch a film!

The movie theatre was super clean and had the most amazing and comfortable seats. The reclining chair here was better than any other movie theatre. The amount of snacks were also unlimited!!! It was a little slow of a line. There were tons and tons of people there because of the rain but maybe only three workers at the concession stand.

Always clean and Pleasant theater speakers and surroundsound are awesome place to watch a movie

Great movie theater always clean. The surroundsound in there is awesome but definitely recommend.

It does not get much easier than this: we went online to purchase our tickets and chose our seats for the movie, "The Good Liar," at the Cinemark at Coastal Grand Mall. We arrived at 4:00 PM thinking we would miss all the previews as it said the movie would start at 4:00 PM. We were really annoyed to find out that we had to watch a half hour of previews before the movie started. We were not thrilled about that! We like to come to the movies here when we visit Myrtle Beach as we really like the reclining seats; they are so comfortable! This movie had a real twist at the end which we did not see coming. We enjoyed ourselves.

Went to go see a movie on 6/23 and it was the worst thing ever. They had nothing at all no drinks, candy and other things. The theater was also very dirty and the chairs did not work. Stay away

An older theater but in good condition. Did not have the reclining heated seats we are use to at other Cinemark locations.

The theatre that we were in was pretty small, but that's not a bad thing, there wasn't a bad seat in the house, literally.

This railway station has not been in public service since the 1950's I was told but the building still stands and on the nearby rails stand both a decommissioned box car and caboose. Neither of these is open for public exploration inside but the train depot building itself is. Inside the small facility are numerous photographs from across the stations history and a few related relics. There is a time capsule as well which was sealed in May of 2004 and is set to be opened in May of 2054. In the rear of the station which probably originally served as the waiting room area and some office space is a publicly accessible room but I did not go into it as there was a family function happening at the time. My guess is that they rent this room out and let people bring in catered fare. You can stand on the place where the platform used to let passengers on and off but mind your step and the same can be said for the tracks. The two cars can be posed in front of by I discourage climbing on them as all for the sake of your own safety. I was glad we chanced upon this since the photos will make for good blogging and Instagram material.

I purchased the Tea Service ahead of time. Everyone was very friendly but I will say, overly cautious. I had indicated that I have a tree nut allergy on the notes when I booked our reservation and I have never had an establishment refuse me service because of my allergy , but they did. For the life of me I couldn't understand why a slight adjustment couldn't be made to remove almonds from one tiny dish. They also refused to serve one of my daughters for a lactose intolerance note. I assured them it was ok and I had a lactaid for her to take, she'd be fine. I had only included that note because SOME places will offer alternatives. Ultimately, they served us but I had to sign a waiver, never have I ever until now. Most of the tea service items were very good with the exception of the tiny lemon chess pie which was curdled and tasted of rotten eggs, awful. The tea was excellent and the scones and curd and cream were great too. The area where the dining room is, is nothing fancy at all. It was decent but I was truly disappointed as I was hoping for something more extravagant for tea service. The plantation home, while nice was also truly underwhelming. Great history, good tour guide who was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller, but the house was not anywhere near as fancy as others I have visited. I think what was the biggest let down was that this was the first time my daughters were visiting any plantation home and it was not at all what I was hoping for them to see and experience. If I had known what it looked like more ahead of time, I would have chosen another location in the area. Pictures inside the home are not allowed.
