He explained the specialness of 70mm IMAX (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=48&select=D0sCdmms65IJpTy8F24HYA) and that it was available in two Bay Area theaters (other in 408, but it might actually be in Dublin). Said friend already had tickets about ten days from when we discussed this as he bought them almost two weeks earlier. Checking with another friend who is a littler older than me about The Odyssey, we both related to the story, for myself after reading the book in high school. I searched online and the link led me to a famous movie ticket selling company that starts with an F (review to come). After searching for dates and times for the screenings of this format at this theater, I noticed that almost every date had available seats only in the 1st five rows of the theater. But one Monday a couple weeks after I did a search, I saw a map that seemed to show that there were a couple seats on the last row of the theater next to several disabled access seats. I clicked them and happily told my friend. Two weeks later, I liked that my QR code was the only thing needed to enter both the venue and that particular theater. We walked in about 15 minutes before the scheduled 'lights out' for previews. As I walked to the location based on the map where I bought the tickets, I noticed that the map was inaccurate. Instead of being at the furthest row from the screen, our seats were literally the closest. I was concerned about getting dizzy especially since the movie time is 2 hrs. 45 minutes. I was glad to say that there were no physical or visual issues from this though it was difficult to appreciate the movie when I had to slump to the furthest rear portion of the seat to scan the entire screen. No qualms with the theater as the seats filled by the time the movie started 25 minutes after the screening. A nice bonus was that the director added a preview trailer (appreciated in 70 MM IMAX) of a sequel (part 3) of a popular movie (Dune, for those who are fans) coming towards the end of the year. I am still a fan of this theater though I must admit that is was trying to enjoy this movie. Surprisingly, this was not an issue. If you're a movie fan, do try to catch The Odyssey before it leaves the 70mm format screen. Trust me.

Took a day off to catch this flick because weekend tickets had been sold out for weeks. Only options were weekdays. No problem as this guy was willing to burn a PTO day to see this awesome film. And it was truly awesome. One cannot truly appreciate the size and scale of a movie like this without seeing it on IMAX. This theater continues to satisfy over the years. They have $1 movies everyday if you are looking to go in a budget The 5 stars is mainly because the managers have a 5-star attitude when it comes to customer service. They have helped me out every time instead of brushing me off. In the beginning, I kept forgetting to scan my rewards membership as the concession workers don't ask for it. They were able to retoractively add my points or apply my rewards when I remember right after the transaction finished. It's much better than Cinemark when one forgets. Another thing is when one of the managers saw me looking at movie merch, they took the initiative to ask what I was looking for and bring out stock from the back to sell to me. For clarification, I had called in earlier in the week and the concession workers told me there were no more. I still came by to look and was pleasantly surprised they had merch in the back. I appreciated that very much, plus the theater got to sell a good portion of their stock that day. Win-win. Would recommend this theater to others.

I spoke to someone at the counter, and she gave me the emails for David (the general manager) and the theater so I could inquire about their birthday packages, pricing, and other details. I emailed both gm1464@regalcinemas.com and theatre1464@regalcinemas.com twice, but I never received any response. Because of that, I ended up just buying all the tickets myself and bringing in food for the party, which was very inconvenient and stressful. The only reason I'm giving 1 star instead of less is because of one employee named Skipper. He truly went the extra mile to help us with the seating arrangements and even helped me bring the food inside. He was very kind, helpful, and professional. If it weren't for him, my son's birthday could have been a disaster. Thank you, Skipper, for saving the day!

You simply can't take your eyes off of them! Music director Megan Schoenbohm, from whom I sat a mere ten feet from, was herself fascinating to watch as she meticulously and flawlessly conducted her musicians from one Morissette hit to another  (while on guitar and harmonica). The intimate and cozy NTC routinely delivers outstanding productions. Add this one to the long list.

Booking was easy to do online, and the owner Rob answered questions that I asked via email. Last Saturday, I showed up with 8 boys to celebrate my son's birthday, and the group had a blast. The party was mid-morning, and I appreciated how quiet the venue was. Some arcades have music that is blasting and so many lights flashing, and that can be overly stimulating. There are plenty of machines for guests to spread out. In the back, there are 4 controllers for Nintendo Switch, and the staff did have to come help change games for the kiddos but if you know what you're doing, you might be able to navigate on your own. Ordering pizza from Red Rooster was really easy, and the staff at Pixels even walked over to pick up the pizza for the party. So thoughtful! Throughout the 2 hours there, there were other families who came in to enjoy the arcade, as well as adults. 2 hours goes by so quickly! All the parents whose kids attended said their kiddos had a blast. Great place for a birthday party, young and old :) The dads are now talking about gathering again without the kids! Quick logistics: A single use bathroom is at the back of the space. Bring cash for tips or you can tip with card payment. Parking in the lot is free on weekends, otherwise pay for metered street marking Monday - Saturday.

In comparison to the pinball museum, Pixels had more video games and I think it fit our interests more. We each got a drink from the place, the kids picked out soft drink / juice, and the husband and I each got an alcohol beverage. I like that there were many local brews they are serving. I like the idea of supporting local businesses. My son was a little shy to go play the video game station set up with gaming chairs. But we pretty much tried all the other free games. There are a few machines not included in the package cost, they are clearly labeled and close to the entrance, you will need cash coins to play those, if you want to play them. The bathroom was clean. There were so many bottles of anti-bacterial solutions lining up near the entrance and inside the facility. I'm a bit of a clean freak after the Covid-19 pandemic, so seeing this made me happy that the owner cares about protecting people. We spent about 3 hours here. I saw some lady some in with a bunch of kids. It was kind of interesting to watch them because she was working on her laptop while the kids ran around and played games. It's like a cheap daycare! I wish the had one of these arcades closer to where I live, I can just let my kids loose while I do my own thing for a couple hours!
