If you're looking for a super affordable nail spot with the sweetest nail techs this is your spot! This spot is efficient and affordable, but if you're looking for a super bougie experience this may not be the place for you. I will say your experience is dependent on the nail tech you receive. I loved Viet and I had Lily today who paid so much attention to detail and helped me find the color I was looking for. I have come a few other times and felt as if the work was rushed. I paid $25 for a basic gel manicure (not including tip). Highly recommend, especially if you can get one of my fave nail techs!! read more

I LOVE this place! but I just had the worst experience with an esthetician named Nancy. First of all I had a picture of what I wanted (and it was up and facing her the whole time). I asked her not to cut my nails and she did. She picked a color based off of the picture and it was completely wrong (like the picture was pink and she brought back orange). I asked for a new color and when asked if the color was sheer she replied no it will get better after the first coat. I listed and waited and it in fact did not get better. So we got a 3rd color. At this point my friend who I went with got gel mani and pedi completed and I was still in the beginning stages of my manicure. I stopped speaking up because I just wanted to get out of there. It turned out messy and rough. Not smooth at all. She also managed to get nail polish on my AirPods. Go to CIndy's - ask for anyone else but her. I'm getting them redone tomorrow. I was not listened to and I'm pissed. read more

I was recommended to go here by a friend. I saw a review on Yelp of some rainbow pride nails that Kevin did and loved them, so I figured I'd give it a try. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted and offered a beverage. It wasn't too busy when I arrived (around 1:30pm on a Thursday), but got busier while I was there. I showed them the photo for reference and they were able to get a manicurist who felt confident in doing the style. Even though Kevin was out, Tommy did an INCREDIBLE job! Tommy was very communicative and made sure he had the colors I wanted and the design figured out. He was meticulous! He took his time making sure each nail was a good shape and that the polish looked perfect. When it came to the rainbow designs, he was flawless. Would definitely recommend Tommy for anyone looking for detail-oriented service. To cap it off, the price was unbeatable. Ms. Cindy, keep up the good work! My go-to nail shop in the city. It's a spacious spot and they have great massage chairs. Also a treat! The color selection is more vast than my options on a Netflix binge night. This time, I went for a shade of red by OPI aptly named Coca Cola - because who doesn't want their nails to match their beverage preferences, am I right? And let's talk about the service - they are as attentive as a nosy neighbor, but in a good way. The prices are reasonable, and they even beverages for you. I had a diet coke with my mani, pedi - because balance, right? ( next time maybe I will have a glass of wine or champagne. I don't have a particular tech I go to, they are all like nail wizards sprinkling their magic dust on my fingertips. Consistent perfection at its finest. read more

Well I normally have Lisa and she is amazing, but yesterday I had Bin for a pedi. I am sad to say that 26 hours later I am developing an ingrown nail because he cut it too short leaving it jamming into the skin. I also had to ask for sterilized tools, which took a minute for him to understand. That's the law people! I paid $31 for a pain in my toe with potential for infection. Bin was distracted and my polish job is chump. I have been going there regularly since I moved to the neighborhood 2 years ago but the service seems to be getting sloppy. That was my last time. read more

Edit: Cindy reached out to me after posting offering for my nails to be redone at no cost, but I literally can't trust them and never want to step foot in there again. 0 stars if I could. 1st visit: Told me and my friend they could take us. We come in, we wait 30 minutes. They seat us together. Instead of doing both of our nails, my friend sits there for an hour while he does my nails and only after I'm done does hers. My polish was black but turned BLUE in sunlight. 2nd visit: This woman pushed down on my nails so hard, my skin tore. She filed my nail way too much on one side (making it uneven), but continued to file after I said OW multiple times. When it started to bleed and I had to sternly say to please stop filing, she just put nail glue on it. It was the most PAINFUL and SLOPPIEST manicure I've EVER received. This place will NEVER get another dime from me! I'm angry that I even had to pay! read more

They are quick to recognize you and offer help, but I always feel rushed. I don't use polish and half of them don't care or don know how to correctly BUFF. I do, because I do it at home. They always half a$$ buff and the put oil to make my nails shine. A correctly done buff should have your nails shiny for weeks after. The picture below is immediately after she finished . I only come here because it is near my house, but I am actively looking for another spot. I will correctly buff my own nails when I get home. read more

Been going to Cindy's since they open the doors on Carrollton over 10 years ago...easily left a 5 star review, today..it's a 2 for me. Maybe because the corner salon is convenient, and I'd like to believe the services will be great again. Last few visits...my eyes would start to burn from lack of ventilation and strong smell of chemicals! I got a pedicure--and my technician loved to chat with his co workers. I go there to relax not listen to them chat and carry on...so loud. The chair was also dirty, the arm rest was sticky and just felt gross. Haven't seen the owner around much, and maybe that's why the salon is lacking. read more

My boyfriend and I were wanting to get a pedicure on a Sunday so we googled a few places and Cindy's was our choice. Well needless to say, we were not disappointed. As soon as we got there, we were seated and served. Rose and Emily were our techs and they were both awesome and very kind. We were offered drinks before being seated. They seemed to enjoy their time with us by laughing so much due to my boyfriend being ticklish. I had the deluxe pedicure with the gel polish for $46 (which is way cheaper than most places that I've gone). Their prices were great and the place was aesthetically appealing and the atmosphere was busy but pleasant. I haven't experienced getting my nails or any other services with them yet, but I do plan on returning. I do recommend them based on our experience so far. We both left as satisfied customers. Amy did a wonderful job on my pedicure. I felt like a valued client because she took her time & made sure I was pleased. Helen was wonderful until Karen came in & wanted Helen to do her nails, she interrupted my service multiple times, so I got a rushed & somewhat painful job after that. I expressed that I wanted another coat but she pushed back. I was no longer a valued client. Pedicures here are great. Dip manicures are great 20% of the time. I'm sorry, Cindy, I tried to come back but it seems futile to try again. read more

I'm at my end with this place! It never fails when I get my nails and toes done especially. Sophia did her best but not so much. She cut my big toenail down too much and ended up making it even more uglier. I also have extra mail on my pinky toe that she didn't consider cutting off. I won't be returning. read more

Very nice and friendly staff. The services are reasonably priced. I came for a polish change and a dip set, and the total was 45 (but they added an extra $5 to take off the poly gel overlay that I had on my nails bringing the total to $50). I asked for a marble print on two nails, and my nail tech, John, didn't know how to do marble, so I just chose not to get any design. While I was waiting, the polish on my toes smeared a bit, and instead of redoing those two nails, a different tech just painted over the smears, so the polish isn't smooth on those toes. The positive things about this shop is that it is open on Sundays and it is open pretty late. They also give you a choice of wine or nonalcoholic drink while you are being serviced. They keep the stations and bathroom very clean! read more

I arrived at my appointment time and was immediately led to my seat to begin my service. The space was super clean and tidy, and the staff offered me a drink and snacks. The nail colors are immaculately organized on the wall, and any color you're interested in, they'll have. I really appreciated how clean the service was (with no nail particles flying all over me). The service was completed in a timely manner, with my tech being very sweet. Last, the service was reasonably priced! $50 for a dip soak off and full set isn't bad at all. I will definitely continue as a client!

They are not. It got so bad that I took my question to Reddit, which is how I ended up booking at this place, which sadly was no different. When I sat down (twenty minutes late) I was informed by the nail tech that she does Russian manicures, but doesn't cut with a scissor. Immediate red flag but I had already paid in full and needed the disaster set I walked in with removed. This person then proceeded to not follow any of the steps of a Russian manicure. No orangewood stick. No flame bit to lift the dead skin. A jagged cut around the cuticle with oil added to hide it. Abrasions where my live skin was filed with the ball bit. I was then informed that I would need to pay an additional $60 for the hard gel application. To be fair, it was applied nicely and the shaping was great. It just wasn't a Russian manicure. If it had been billed as a hard gel manicure and left at that it would have been fine. The gaslighting at the end - I was told I should book hard gel fills moving forward because I don't "need" a Russian manicure - was the icing atop a very shitty cake. If you don't know what you're looking for, this is the place for you. The vibe and aesthetic of the salon is nice. If you're looking for an actual Russian manicure, keep looking.
