Have never been so burnt by a realtor in my life.....They didn't allow me to attend…read moreinspection...was allowed to stop and pay the inspector ...Sue Eckhart was the agent and she attended inspection...never mentioned it before closing. The closing she was late and left early. It was a new girl who did the closing at a lawyers office....taxes were messed up and it cost me a thousand dollars in rebates. I'm lucky I saw an email that looked like a tax bill....I called and was shocked to find a house I paid cash for in full. Was going to be on sheriff sale list due to the incompetence of all those involved. Very greedy....i would never use Mary Enke Realty based on their aloof uncaring attitude....They really could care less. Commission is their only mission. Enjoy. If try Michele Deluca if you want as someone that really does their best....a very unsatisfied victim of Sue from Mary Enke & Mary was even slippery....get the money no matter how wrong their unqualified closer does the paperwork and it's not their fault. Please ...get training on proper closing procedures and inspection disclosures before continuing in this area....Even DeMaria is better choice than Enke ..Time to retire.

We were in the process of buying a house from Mary Enck 15 years ago. Did not get much negotiation…read morein the price, even though the house was older and needed a lot of TLC. The house had been put on and off the market several times for the previous couple years and never sold. Unfortunately, we didn't listen to our guts and went ahead and put down a $1,000 holding deposit on the property. We were given the disclosure statement from the owner. Everything looked fine on paper. Once the owner accepted our offer, the agent said we had to pay for the inspection and recommended 3 they regularly work with. My gut feeling told me to find someone else, and I AM SO HAPPY WE DID!! The house was in far worse shape than we thought, with a whole host of problems, none of which were included in the disclosure. One of the biggest things wrong was the septic system. (FYI..a Septic cleaner professional had actually arrived to clean the septic system out. It took him and hour to pry it open. He said it had not been cleaned in 30+ years). The inspector showed us more than 20 things wrong with the house, including mold, a dangerous and unstable deck, asphalt grading towards the house and trees growing over the pipes that lead to the leach field. Those are just a few problems. It was well worth the $1000 inspection cost. We sent Mary Enck a copy of the report and withdrew our offer. They seemed unsurprised. About a year later we drove by the property and saw they were fixing some of the things, like the roof. Later that year we saw that the house was sold. If you ask me, Mary Enck and associates engage in faulty real estate practices, which is at least unethical, possibly illegal!! I RECOMMEND NOT USING MARY ENCK to buy, or even sell your home. There are so many better Real estate agencies out there! Do your research and always look at the negative reviews! Good luck!

I am a frequent customer to an inspiring and talented barber whom recently took control of the shop…read moreon crystal street that he has been residing in for years. Unfortunately, the business lacks one thing that is required during warmer months, A WORKING CENTRAL AIR COOLING UNIT. I am not a business owner but I think that falls on the responsibility of the property management company or property owner. How can you say you are a community involved business Baxter when you can not even fix an ac unit for over 4 months. I will still sweat it out with my barber because he does amazing work and has amazing customer service skills unlike your office personnel or yourself.

When I signed my first lease a year ago there were several problems with electrical wiring in the…read moreapt that was rented. However, I am a very patient person and gave them time to fix issues that occurred like sparks that would fly if we dared to plug in a cable box in the wall of certain rooms. This problem was fixed within the first 2 months of the lease. There was another problem where the house was not wired properly to meters on the home. With this issue the Utlity Providers could not charge us for utilities until the issue was corrected. Even with several other small issues I reluctantly resigned the lease in July of this year. We were promised that there would be a 24 hr maintenance team in the event of emergencies. When a skunk crawled into our basement through a large space in the house's foundation we found the "24 hr crew" to be non existent. Fast forward to present day there have still been issues where the breakers will trip in the home once every few weeks. The landlord was made aware of it. Once again because of extreme patience to us it wasn't a big issue. Then one afternoon the breakers trip again and the woman of the house is home alone. She heads down the wooden steps to reset the breakers and goes through the staircase on the third step from the top. She is only 4ft11 and weighs 160lbs. There is no reason that she should have went through the staircase. Once she was able to get to her feet she then had to climb out. Frantic and in pain she called me immediately to tell me what happened. When I spoke to Lisa at this office she didn't even seem to care and was more concerned with the reason that someone went into the basement. I told her that I felt it was best that we start to look for other living arrangements. At this point she chose to remind me that I am still responsible for rent payments through the duration of the lease. Lisa also states that she was told by property owner that the steps were "fairly" new. Not sure if I can legally get out of the lease, but hoping for the best. If you are looking to move to the Pocono area I would not recommend Michael Baxter & Associates. On a side note the appearance of the apartment was extremely amazing.
