I have to start by saying that Rick Golden is an absolute gem. Unlike other realtors, who just work…read moreas salespeople, Rick was formerly a builder. So he truly knows houses from that perspective and can honestly tell you what's good and what's bad with each of the houses you look at with him. And unlike salespeople, he doesn't try to push you into a sale. He understands what you're looking for and just gives you the facts as he sees them. We looked at 11 houses together. The last one had been neglected for a period of time and needed work, but he told me that it had "good bones". He gave me a "builder's" estimate of what it might cost to fix it up, so I'd truly know if my budget could handle both the sale and the repairs. I now own that house and absolutely love it! It took me 2 years to get all the repairs done, but I'm SO glad I did it. If you're someone looking to buy in the Poconos, I highly recommend Rick Golden of USA Realty!

She recommended numerous properties that fit our criteria and got us appointments to see properties we had an interest in very quickly. She was very helpful during house tours. She helped point out red flags but also helped us see the potential in some houses. Even after we figured out which house we wanted, she was instrumental in getting us into our house, during this especially difficult time in a pandemic. She recommended house inspection companies and mortgage brokers. She also facilitated the house and fire inspections- she knew just what to do! She's honest, direct and a fierce advocate who makes sure that you are getting the attention you deserve throughout the entire process. Although she has a lot of clients, she makes you feel like you are her most important one and she is very professional, which is exactly what we wanted in the person who helped us make the largest purchase of our life. Thank you Stephanie!
