The relief of having a realtor I could talk openly with, ask my questions, and I knew would get me the best outcome was such a dream. After meeting with several realtors, I immediately felt Suman was the right choice for us. Her presence was comfortable and friendly, but also so professional and knowledgable. I instantly felt her level of experience and trusted she could handle whatever was thrown at her. (Turns out our house through a lot at her.) She thoroughly reviewed the upgrades we had already made to our home, happily provided input on paint colors and other aesthetic choices, and personally managed the painters and carpeting company we hired, and she connected us with an excellent stagers, inspectors and cleaning team. (The cleaning team did an AMAZING job!) We had to leave town prior to listing and we literally handed the keys to Suman and she handled everything from there. During the showing process she called us regularly with updates and insight, was incredibly responsive to any questions we had, and helped us make decisions like when to hire additional inspections, extend the deadline for the offer, etc. I never felt any pressure on decisions, but she provided the information and an opinion when I asked her for one. The outcome was amazing. We got an aggressive offer far above what we were expecting! During the close process there were an almost comical number of complications (none of them were anyone's fault) and Suman provided me updates after she pre-negotiated each one with the buyers on my behalf. She always arrived with detailed information, solutions, options, and a positive attitude that we could find our way through it. I honestly thought we would have to go back to market but she got our deal closed without a single concession or reduction in price! Upasna understood the urgency of the situation and put things in place in record time to get our house ready for an open house. She found contractors to do last minute paint jobs and repairs, stagers to prepare the house, and cleaners to do a deep cleaning -- all in time for an open house that was just a week away. Once our house was on the market, the interest was understandably on the weaker side, and prospective buyers were already stopping their searches due to concerns around COVID-19. What impressed us most was that Upasna adjusted to the situation very quickly and was able to predict that interest would drop even further if we waited too long for our "ideal" price. She's had an incredibly long history of experience with real estate, and so when she assured us that we would have to move sooner than we had originally thought (and for a lower price) we were convinced, and she helped us finalize an offer with the right buyers, and negotiate the best price possible.
